DotA2 Skill: Borrowed Time

Borrowed Time

Casting Method:Active
Targetting Method:No Target
Allowed Targets:Self
When activated, most negative buffs will be removed and any damage you take will heal instead of damaging you. If the ability is not on cooldown, it will passively activate when your health drops below the threshold.

Radius: 0 ( 900)
Health Threshold: 400 ( 550)
Redirected Damage: 0 ( 50%)
Duration: 4 / 5 / 6 ( 7 / 8 / 9)
Cooldown Time: 90 / 80 / 70
Additional Information
The most unnatural of all the gifts of the Font of Avernus, this power defies mortal understanding. What should hurt, instead heals; and what should kill gives strength anew.

NOTES:
  • Has an instant cast time, but interrupts channeling upon cast. Does not interrupt channeling when passively activated.
  • Applies a strong dispel upon activating, be it manually or passively activated.
  • Can be manually activated even while stunned, cycloned, slept, taunted, hidden*, or during forced movement.
  • It cannot be manually activated or shift-queued, but can passively activate while silenced, hexed or prevented from acting.
  • Activates automatically when a damage instance (without the HP Removal* flag) drops Abaddon's health below 400, or hits Abaddon while already below 400 health.
    • The damage is dealt before Borrowed Time is activated, meaning if the damage instance exceeds Abaddon's current health, he dies without Borrowed Time activating.
    • This also means that it does not save Abaddon from instantly killing effects like Culling Blade and Ice Blast. Ice Blast also prevents any healing.
  • Fully negates damage, causing several on-damage effects* to not trigger.
  • Has the highest priority in the group of damage negating spells.
    • This means that when combined with other damage negating effects (e.g. Aphotic Shield or False Promise), Borrowed Time negates the damage while the others do not.
    • For False Promise, this means that Borrowed Time first turns damage into healing, and then it is registered by False Promise as a heal and not as damage.
  • As with all damage manipulating effects, Borrowed Time only negates and heals from the 3 damage types. It does not heal from HP Removal.
    • The only exception is Heartstopper Aura, which it does heal from. However, it does not passively activate from it.
*The following abilities can turn him hidden: Assimilate, Astral Imprisonment, Disruption, Enchant Remnant and Snowball.

*These instances are: Armlet of Mordiggian's toggle, Ghost Ship's delayed damage, Orb of Venom, Poison Sting, Soul Ring, Soul Rip's health cost, Static Field, Sunder and Time Lapse.

*These effects are: Aegis of the Immortal's restoration cancel, Blink Dagger cancel, Bloodthorn, Bottle's regeneration cancel, Clarity's regeneration cancel, Dragon Splash Attack, Healing Salve's regeneration cancel, Heart of Tarrasque's regeneration cancel, Kraken Shell, any source of lifesteal, Life Drain, Living Armor, Mjollnir, Orchid Malevolence, Psi Blades, Rune of Regeneration's regeneration cancel, Soul Assumption, Spirit Vessel's regeneration cancel and Urn of Shadows's regeneration cancel.

SCEPTER UPGRADE:
Increases duration by 1. While Borrowed Time is active, anytime an allied hero in a radius takes more than 525 damage, a Mist Coil will automatically fire towards that ally.
