Introduction

Hero introduction

The Soul Keeper has one of the most feared growth potentials of all. While initially weak, if left unchecked he can come back to slaughter his enemies with ease. His ability to Soul Steal allows him to slowly siphon life from one target to himself. To aid in his physical prowess, Terrorblade can Metamorphosis into the powerful demon hunter, gaining a ranged attack and additional life. He can also Conjure Images to deceive or simply unleash them upon his enemies. Some have questioned his mortality, as he can Sunder to swap his current health with that of someone robust and lively, essentially escaping death, and sending someone close to their own.

Background story

Terrorblade is the demon marauder an outlaw hellion whom even other demons fear. He stole from the Demon Lords and for his crimes was taught this lesson: even Hell has a hell. He was incarcerated in Foulfell, a dark mirror of reality where demons are sentenced to gaze into twisted reflections of their own souls. But instead of suffering, Terrorblade mastered his reflected worst self and turned his terror loose upon creation.

Items

  • Boots of Travel are a good choice in the late game: you'll be able to push more easily, catching up enemies and slowing them and they also give you a sort of escape mechanism.
  • Butterfly offers great damage boost, while its armor and evasion also increase his already high damage mitigation. A Talisman of Evasion is useful for melee evasion while the high agility boost of Eaglesong is a welcome boost to the illusions' DPS.
  • Daedalus will provide the damage and critical chance needed to make Terrorblade extremely deadly at both melee and range attack.
  • Heart of Tarrasque Is the best item to buy if you need more survivability. Gives you extra survivability from the HP increase and HP regen.
  • Assault Cuirass is a very strong pickup as well, giving Terrorblade armor and attack speed. Increases your DPS by increasing your attack speed and reducing enemy armor.
  • Eye of Skadi grants Terrorblade both incredible survivability and killing power. Its wealth of stats provide Terrorblade HP, mana, armor, damage, and attack speed. Not to mention, its ever-useful Unique Attack Modifier which slows enemies on-hit greatly helps Terrorblade to stick to his targets combined with Reflection. Also grants excellent Agility attribute boost.
  • Satanic grants great survivability and damage. Will aid him in healing a lot of damage.

  • Monkey King Bar will grant a significant damage bonus and attack speed as well as countering most forms of evasion.
  • Radiance provides a lot of damage and the Radiance aura can accelerate Terrorblade's farm and increase his ability to push. Illusions carry the Radiance aura, although the aura will not stack from multiple sources.
  • Heaven's Halberd gives you evasion against enemies who rely on their physical attacks but, Butterfly is a much better option.
  • Black King Bar can make you immune to many abilities but, unlike other heroes who's Black King Bar is a core item, for you it's very, very situational item just like Anti-Mage.
  • Linken's Sphere provides spell block, decent attributes for the cost. An extension from an early perseverance, it increases Terrorblade's durability. Although not a core item but, a more of cheap situational.
  • Hand of Midas not a recommended item, and it's considered as a situational item.

Spell Block and Magic Immunity explanation

Allies and Enemies

Allies

Arcane Aura grants you mana regeneration for spamming your Reflection. Abilities like Death Pulse will make stay longer in the lane. Abilities like Magic Missile will help you easily kill the target.

Enemies who counter you in the early game

You have low Hp increase so if these heroes gank you in the early game will be a problem due to their big damage. Sonic Wave and Scream of Pain, also Vendeta, Impale and Mana Burn. Though you don't have a big mana pool increase so Mana Burn can do minor damage to you.
Finger of Death and Laguna Blade can take you down in order if you survive this you can swap souls with Sunder. Reaper's Scythe can be a bug of if you're not on very low Hp which will kill you instantly. Meat Hook and Sacred Arrow are going to be a problem due to your low Hp increase (this goes as well for Finger of Death Laguna Blade and Reaper's Scythe). If you're laning against Undying it will be a real problem to you, taking STR from you with Decay -4 on when ever he casts it.

Heroes who you counter

The army of Lancers with is no match for you even with the Diffusal Blade built. Even Lycanthrope in Shapeshift form is no match up to you, since you got even a more powerful form Metamorphosis. Wraith King's Reincarnation is no problem, cause you have your ultimate Sunder.

Heroes with silence

Doom can be threatening if you are not farmed up much and Doom Bringer can shut you down. So being not shut down is you need to farm up and get core items so you can fight Doom Bringer while Doomed, but make sure you cast Metamorphosis first. Know that Doom can not shut down Metamorphosis. Curse of the Silent and Last Word are anoying as much as Decay, Curse of the Silent drains your Hp and Mp while Last Word deals great amount of damage and also disarm and silence.

The hero who counters you the entire game

Ursa is the most powerful hero 1 vs 1 so this means that he is the biggest counter to you. Though Ursa can be killed in the early game do to Metamorphosis and Sunder. Mid game and Late game is hard. Not even the exchange of souls with Sunder can take him down, cause of his powerful Unique Attack Modifier Fury Swipes, Overpower and Enrage, Ursa will instantly heal up and kill you.
