How to Counter Faceless Void

Intro

Faceless Void has gotten much attention lately and in my humble opinion is a pretty broken hero in pubs and even more in pro matches.
With a casual build of Hand of Midas Power Treads Maelstrom Mask of Madness Black King Bar you will own pretty much everything if those items are timed well (all of them nearly by 30 minute mark) (the rest of item choices falls upon you).

Why is it broken

Because it has a superior (not stoppable by BKB) Crowd Control Chronosphere which allows you to freeze everyone and makes a perfect setup for allied spells such as Sun Strike Mystic Flare Chain Frost Epicenter and many others as well.
Because he has the perfect late game skills (a non counterable evasion* on everything that damages him Backtrack) a bash ( Time Lock) that gets doubled in Chronosphere and a blink ( Time Walk) that slows everything in a path near it.

*Note:According to mechanics Backtrack isnt based on evasion but its based on sustaining the damage you just took,so basicly its a heal.Furthermore that means that Monkey King Bar doesnt do anything against Backtrack

So how do you counter it with items?

Faceless Void is based only on physical damage.Which gives ample solutions outside Black King Bar.
To be more specific (from cheapest to the most expensive):
Eul's Scepter of Divinity (2700)
Heaven's Halberd (3850)
Ethereal Blade (4900)
Scythe of Vyse (5675)
Abyssal Blade (6750)
One of the heroes has got to have one of those and he has to make it OUTSIDE THE CHRONOSPHERE.

Note: Abyssal Blade is nearly useless unless void approaches the edge of the chrono and some hero casts Abyssal on Void but thats a very slim chance.
Note: Ethereal Blade is one of the finest choices because it has allied cast as well.

Some other items worth mentioning on heroes inside Chronosphere
Blade Mail (2200)
Shiva's Guard (4700)
if you are fast enough and you can activate them in time,its not guaranteed that you live but you enemy will think twice before killing or running away.

All those stuff are countered by Black King Bar

So how do you counter it with heroes ?

You need heroes that can stay outside Chronosphere and prevent him from killing anyone inside.Also its advisable to have heroes that have superior skills because sooner or later void is gonna get his Black King Bar unless he is a ******.

Heroes who counter Void (provided they stay outside chronosphere)
#1 Beastmaster with Primal Roar and especially if he gets Aghanim's Scepter
#2 Omniknight with Aghanim's Scepter or with good positioning on Guardian Angel
#3 Naga Siren be it a #4 or a #1 Naga I dont care just stay outside chrono and use Song of the Siren even if he uses Black King Bar his allies wont be able to help him
#4 Elder Titan just use your combo and remember your Earth Splitter works through Black King Bar
#5 Phoenix with Supernova is a mild distraction but you cant easily ignore it.
#6 Bane Elemental with Fiend's Grip well you gonna need a bkb but if you stop him from hitting 3 seconds into chrono your job is done.
#7 Kunkka with Ghost Ship you arent gonna stun him ,just provide enough sustain to your allies against him .
#8 Wraith King outliving his ****ty Chronosphere with Reincarnation
#9 Outworld Devourer/ Shadow Demon by Astral Imprisonment/ Disruption on ally being focused.
#10 Viper With Aghanim's Scepter Just save your 1st Viper Strike for your beloved friend Faceless Void

So how do you counter it in lane

Make sure you make him regret picking the OP *** hero he picked by getting one of those mentioned bellow :)

#1 Huskar >> Burning Spear
#2 Lich >> Sacrifice / Frost Blast
#3 Viper >> Poison Attack, Corrosive Skin if he is brave enough to hit you
#4 Necrophos or Necrolyte with Heartstopper Aura
#5 Skywrath Mage not much to say here just make sure you waste all your mp into him
#6 Venomancer Poison Sting and Plague wards THE FUN ENDS HERE
