Spartacus, the Last Gladiator

Faction: The Radiant
Primary attribute: Agility
Attack type: Melee
Roles: Carry, Disabler, Initiator, Durable

Stats:
Strength: 62.5 at lvl25 (20 + 1.7)
Agility: 85.5 at lvl25 (28 + 2.3)
Intelligence: 48 at lvl25 (13 + 1.4)
Health: 1567.5 at 25
Mana: 884 at lvl25
Damage: 54-60
Range: 128
Armor: 5.8 (4 from AGI, 1.8 base)
Movement Speed: 305

Lore:
Long ago before the creation of Ancients, another contest of strength was held. Colloseum. An arena for heroes of all continents, a way to prove your manhood for the warriors. Many died while fighting for the pride. Some left victorious, winning a chance to survive aother day. One of those victors was Spartacus, a great warrior with undeniable skill of combat. Winning a battle after a battle, Spartacus grew bored and heartless. He desired more and more bloodshed with each swing of his sword. Finally the day came when Spartacus challenged every single gladiator in Colloseum to a one-versus-all brawl. Battle started at noon and finished at midnight. Exhausted, Spartacus sat on bodies of hundreds of slayed warriors, gazing at the blood red moon shining upon him. Disappointed, he began to travel. They say to this day, he would often challenge a warrior, no matter whether it's a knight: dragon or rogue or even the Void itself, Spartacus is yet to lose a battle.

Abilities:
[Q] Gladiator rush
Casting method: Active
Targetting method: Instant
Allowed targets: Enemy heroes
Pierces Spell immunity: No

Spartacus senses an opportunity for victory, rushing to the nearest enemy with lowest HP at increased speed and maiming them with his attack.

Radius: 550 around Spartacus
Speed: 110/130/150/170% movement speed
Maim: 40% slow
Maim duration: 1/1.5/2/2.5 secs

Mana cost: 100/80/60/40
Cooldown: 24/18/12/6 secs

Spartacus' thirst for blood drives him towards the enemy.

Notes:
-Spartacus still chases towards the spell immune units, but the maim doesn't apply
-The rush can be disrupted by stunning Spartacus or directly pushing him away, but not silencing or slowing him
-Blinking does not disrupt the rush

[W] Overflowing strength
Casting method: Active
Targetting method: Instant
Allowed targets: Self

Spartacus' experience in battles allows him to identify enemy's weak points and blow three powerful hits.

Critical damage: 120/130/140/150% per hit
Crticial chance: 100% for three hits
Duration: 12 secs before crit chance expires to 0%

Mana cost: 0
Cooldown: 24/20/16/12 secs

Combat is art for a Gladiator.

Notes:
-Applies a buff with the counter of how many crit hits are left.
-Crits will proc even if you attack 3 different units
-Stacks additively with items that grant critical strike

[E] Gladiator's skin
Casting method: Passive

Spartacus' body has been injured in many battles, forged to form rugged skin that gives him bonus evasion and regeneration required for mortal combat. Spartacus gains a charge depending on the percentage of his maximum HP missing.

HP missing per charge: 5%
Maximum charges: 6/10/14/18
Evasion per charge: 2/2/4/4%
HP regeneration per charge: 0.5/0.5/1/1

It is said that Gladiators don't wear armour as their skin is sturdier than any metal known.

Notes:
-Stops gaining charges when HP is below 10%
-Maximum evasion per levels is: 12/20/56/72%
-Doesn't stack with items that grant evasion

[R] Colosseum
Casting method: Active
Targetting method: Instant
Allowed targets: Self and Enemy heroes
Pierces Spell immunity: No

Spartacus challenges all enemies near him for a more daring battle. Spawns an impassable arena around Spartacus. If enemy heroes are caught within in, illusions of Spartacus spawn equal to the number of enemies in the Colosseum, forcing them to fight the illusions for the duration. Non-hero units and allied units are pushed out of Colosseum. If Spartacus' illusion gets killed in the Colosseum, Spartacus loses 20% of his current HP and the enemy who killed the illusion regains control of his body. Any Spell immune enemy heroes are also pushed out of the Colosseum.

Radius: 575
Duration: 3/3.5/4 secs
Illusion damage dealt: 60/70/80%
Illusion damage taken: 250%

Mana cost: 250/275/300
Cooldown: 140/120/100 secs

A true Gladiator can take a legion of soldiers all at once.

Notes:
-Illusions have passive bonuses that are on Spartacus (Cleave, Gladiator's skin, Corruption, etc.)
-Illusions don't benefit from auras, but emit them (e.g. Assault aura, Swiftness aura)
-Illusions have Overflowing strength bonus if Overflowing strength was activated before Colosseum
-Spartacus can still attack any enemy within the Colosseum
-Illusions are uncontrollable and disappear if kill an enemy
-If an enemy kills an illusion, he can attack Spartacus or other illusions and their abilities
-If enemy or ally heroes/units are able to get inside the Colosseum after it was spawned, they are pushed out again

Playing suggestions:
This is the part where I think of good ways to play this character. It's only my ideas, yours may be better, so feel free to sumbit them.

Friends/Enemies:
Magnus: Brings everybody in with his Reverse Polarity and gives you the opportunity to 5-man Colosseum.
Dark Seer: Similar to the one with Magnus, only with Vaccum.
Zeus: High damage to all enemies before or after Colosseum is cast can guarantee teamwipe.
Elder Titan: Same as Zeus
Dazzle: Additive armour and armour reduction with Weave is good, considering all of Spartacus' damage is physical. Shallow Grave on dying illusion is also great.
Witch Doctor: Colosseum keeps enemies in place, Death Ward melts them.
Invoker: Same as Witch Doctor

Phantom Assassin: If farmed can kill your illusions easily and then you.
Witch Doctor: You basically dig out a grave for yourself
Jakiro: Same as WD
Disruptor: Same as Jakiro
Lich: Same as Disruptor
Timbersaw: Same as Lich
Invoker: Same as Timbersaw
Omniknight: Damage? What damage?

Items:
Battle Fury would be awesome. If all 5 enemies are caught into Colosseum, they all get hit with 175% cleave damage
Blink Dagger allows you to jump in and cast Colosseum no problems.
Daedalus SO. MUCH. CRITS!
Desolator or/and Assault Cuirass: Armour reduction is very nice.
Heart of Tarrasque: Tankiness is needed
Skull Basher or Monkey King Bar: Bashes.
Shadow Blade allows to cast a good Colosseum and gank enemies.
Vanguard provides damage block for illusions and self, more durability.
Mjollnir fast hitting and lightings across the Colosseum = team wipe.
Armlet of Mordiggan like Chaos Knight, good for ult.

At 18 stacks yeah, when you're below 10% HP. Can still be wasted by nukes though :D
And fast HP regen destroys the stacks pretty fast.

Just realised, the play style with this dude is very similar to how you would play an assassin in Smite. Run up, crit, pop ult, continue with your daily chores.

So does the coloseum taunts the enemies to attack you and the illusions? They cant cast spell?

Nice hero man, the overflowing strenght is actually really good for last hitting.

I like the Gladiator'ss Skin, its like a different version of Berserker's Blood

Good job

Cool hero with a fun concept. I would almost play him as a mid with his good chasing ability. If the mid gets drawn too far away from tower you can simply use gladiator's rush and overflowing strength and secure a kill. Plus those skills make him a powerful ganker which makes putting him in a solo situation for levels all the more useful.

Colosseum is very cool as well, feels like a combination of Duel, Haunt, and Bloodrage which can play out to your benefit given enough backup in fights.

In conclusion, great concept. Hope to see more from you in the future.

Thanks for warm words, Unscathed & BKvoiceover :D
And, yeah in Colosseum the number of illusions is equal to the number of enemies caught and they each are taunted to attack one illusion similar to Axe's Berserker's Call, so it's like everyone has a 1v1 with illusions.
BK, if you want to you can check out two of my other concepts here:
