Introduction to new patch ursa:

Hello my name is farmless void and this is my second guide on dotafire i saw some formating guides on my previous guide (phoenix) and im actually just lazy sorry. here is a guide to ursa one of the strongest single target heroes and hightly underated too.
in the coming patch 6.84 ursa will get a rework on it's ultimate Enrage

Ursa goes into a frenzy, causing him to take 80% less damage from any source and for his attacks to deal 2/2.5/3 times the Fury Swipes damage. Removes any existing debuffs upon cast.

Fury Swipes Multiplier: 2/2.5/3
Duration: 4
Cooldown: 50/45/40

you know what this means? they reworked ursa ultimate, with this they will CHANGE how ursa will work itself every guide ever from ursa includes a hearth of terrasque because of the bonus hp and bonus damage from old Enrage but with this patch ursa will forget the hearth and go full ******ed on agilitty because ursa itself will work on a different way and everyone too... so welcome to NEW ERA URSA BABY!

jungle time

in the beggining of the game get 1 Stout Shield a Ring of Protection ans some shared tangos. never try to attack hell bears at level 1 those wil kill you or take away 3 of your tangos, you can kill centaurs if you attack then in a position where 1 at time can hurt you. and try to dont mess with the birds they hurt. now you might be thinking: Hand of Midas on ursa after Morbid Mask? is this guy insane? no im not the question is you wont be getting out of the jungle for a while (if you are going for carry ursa)... you plan on staying there no matter what and you can plan on early game roshan too... you plan on carrying late game and raping on mid game this ursa is the new era one will be very inactive early game(if carry ursa) but it is better for a carry to be 0/0 than 2/1 because the time you stay dead is crucial for any carry especially ursa on 6.84 patch. you plan on getting like a 11 minutes hand of midas if needed, you will need levels baby this is why i tell you to get 2 points in stats at level 10 and 12 , get the Morbid Mask and the Power Treads PT is better to farm than Phase Boots since you are not going active early on there is no need to get more damage only farming itens and Hand of Midas Morbid Mask and Power Treads are the best for it. so the plan is go on full ****** on jungling get a kinda late hand of midas and power treads anfter this and some levels, it is time to start fighting.

mid game ursa

Aah the mid game... where carrys can man up against supports, and tier 1 towers fall this is where staying for too long alone in a lane will result in you dying this is when the game actually starts. for this i recomend getting a Urn of Shadows and a helm of dominator those itens provide you with 2 thing= regen and money.

Now if you cant get anything done just murder roshan or stay in the jungle stacking with the helm until you get money i put 2 points into the Earthshock because the slow it provides is good enought for now on and i max this at level 20 (if you want get this early) with the more gold farming guide and carry lategame ursa we will get on 6.84gold is the only thing you need now: by this time you have Hand of Midas Helm of the Dominator Power Treads you will have two options: stay killing heroes or stay quiet farming.

Either is good if you plan on getting kills use the helm to get jungle creeps i recomend either NET creep/ Centaur (stun) or Hellbear smasher-extra slow/ since ursa dont have a form of lockdown getting the alpha wolf is not a good idea but you can use it for reasons.

with the new ultimate you can simply dive any tower and get kills ganking the mid lane is something you can do on early game yet not recomended.

mid game is when carrys start to get stronger and wih this i mean gold they might be able to man up against anyone in the map.... Ursa does poorly against illusion heroes so if enemy team have illusion carrys like terror blade Naga Siren phanton lancer you're gonna have a bad time... the thing enrage will do to you is be able to man up any hard carry... 4 seconds with 80% less damage and more damage output equal to YO DEAD only if you know with one is the real one a issue with illuions carrys so good luck gambling

strat issues

Some people are not good at jungling, and if you are one of those you might want to go laning, tre problem is Ursa have a super low base damge in my opinion if you ever do lane get those itens Wraith Band Tango then proceed to get a Hand of Midas Power Treads and lifesteal you can opt for any vladmir oferring helm of dominator Mask of Madness (this synergises well with your ultimate) ursa shpuld always get lifesteal no matter what since Fury Swipes works well with lifesteal.

you might get out farmed if you get a late hand of midas if you are on lane get one before the 8 minutes mark if jungle never get one after 15 min. use the Gloves of Haste to a Power Treads.

UAM or unique attack modifiers is something that works well on ursa since he have 400 bonus attack speed on the Overpoweritens that work are:difusal blade lifesteal Eye of Skadi Desolator but you will go too much glass cannon if you get Desolator and ursa is someon who likes being in the middle of the fight so positioning is something ursa dont mind too much. you will notice i dont include the Blink Dagger on the itens order that is because 2250 of gold is something soooo expensive and take some of your fighting power. sure you use to kill/scape/iniciate/backdoor/positioning... but the price is what really matter Blink Dagger gives you a total of 0 stats! so you can get one sure, but... i dont really recommend it works well on ursa too...

Space Creator Ursa

Creating space is something only a few heroes can do wich is making all enemys in trouble with that hero of keep a balanced fight all the time even on a 4v5 like: Techies earth shaker Night Stalker and Ursa those heroes can give your carry/hard carry a alot of time to farm and this is the plan on this ursa build.

So creating time is easy for ursa your plan is to get some smoke of deciet and keep ganking enemy carry if you do so theyr carry have no gold and yours have alot this will give your team an advantage while you farm heroes even your's supports have time fo farm while you kill everyone in the mid game (watch for invisi heroes) you will often snowball out of controll so get either vladmir offering or dominator you ca convert your early ring of protection to a vlad if you want to

If you get 6 slotted as a snow balled you will notice you no longer have a life steal in my build Force Staff works like Phoenix Icarus Dive can be used to iniciate or escape make a good use of it and radiance to make your enemys miss more often the damage per second is also good to cancel Blink Dagger.

In the late game wait for the iniciator of you team to iniciate then go on and rape but this time your carry will have tons of farm. putting you and your team in a good position.

itens discussions

SO time to talk about some itens that works on the hero itself

Eye of Skadi giving you a solid 25 stats for agi/str/int and raw mana and hp to work with and a UAM of 35%movement slow and 45 attack speed slow. is something almost every hero apreciates specially Ursa a meelee hero.

Refresher Orb with the new Enrage ursa will get 80% damage reduction to put this in perspective Lina Laguna Blade will cause you about 116 magic damage at lvl 3... BOOM now refresh this **** and get a 8 seconds Enrage HOLY **** no one will man up against you bro. bbut it dont give too much of stats but a crazy regen of mana... spam all you want then.

Diffusal Blade one thing i like about dota is how many things can work... Diffusal Blade is one of then you dont want to try burning mana like Phantom Lancer antimage or Naga Siren you want to get the bonus agility and activational purge the big moviment slow to kill any one easelly. the thing about ursa is: they can simply run from you (yes you have a built in slow) but it is not enought.

Heart of Tarrasque the all time favorite ursa iten on... 6.83 and bellow... the Enrage gave damage to you based on your HP this means Heart was there to just give you HP (the regen per second is nice dont get me wrong) but that was built to just give you damage. you can still get it to have raw HP and with the 2.9 stg gain per level ursa have will ensure you are tanky as ****. but i still prefer the Satanic as main str souce.

Assault Cuirass this iten simply give you and your team armor. and take away some of the enemy armor, this means you are going to simply deal more damage/take less damage/and give your team more resistance too... the attack speed is considered a bonus since we want raw armor from this iten and the armor reduction on the enemys so consider the bonus attack speed a bonus.

Solar Crest the new 6.84 iten solar crest will give you a fine 75% mana regen and solid 10 armor the activational of the iten will take the enemy away 10 armor and make then miss 30% of timegreat for heroes that only knows one way of fighting like Huskar since he dont have any scape mecanism at all Solar Crest support item but you can get if you want.

Silver Edge the father of shadow blade and the one who ended the discussion of blink dagger or [[shadow blade on ursa... but Silver Edge is SOOOOO expensive think twice before getting one


Moon Shard going full ****** on attack speed works well on ursa and can be consumed if you are 6 slotted.

Abyssal Blade get nerfed bad and offers you less damage than Monkey King Bar please dont think i prefeer the MKB rather the blade just because it gives you more damage Abyssal Blade offers you a passive bash and a stun but evasion is something most carrys get on late game and MKB simply ensure you dont actually miss..

Radiance this item got buffed on last patch if you go for a super tank build the new miss chance can be crucial for your team in a team fight also ursa now can be played as tanker not because the rework on Enrage because some new itens like Solar Crest and Lotus Orb

Necronomicon Ursa lost some of it pushing powers due to rework on ult so getting a necro book can be a good idea Never get this on carry ursa if you go carry you only want blood

Rod of Atos this item goes in the classic ursa build but still a super good item just underrated get it to help a carry getting kills AS A SPACE CREATOR URSA build

Mask of Madness lol why not?
