Additional Information

Considered the holy grail of necromancy and demonology, a powerful malefic force is locked within its pages.

The Necronomicon recipe can be purchased up to 3 times in order to increase its power. Each time it's upgraded, the strength and intelligence bonuses increase, as well as the level of the summoned units.

The total gold cost for each level is 2700 / 3950 / 5200.

Notes:

  • Interupts the user's channeling spells upon cast.
  • The summons are always summoned infront of the caster.
  • All 3 levels of Necronomicon share cooldown.
  • Recasting this with the same Necronomicon replaces the summons from the previous cast, no matter under whom control they are.
  • However, recasting it with a second Necronomicon creates 2 new summons.
  • The summons can not be targeted by Helm of the Dominator and Hand of Midas.
  • However, they can be targeted by other converting or instantly killing spells like Holy Persuasion or Devour.

This is sooo good on pushers; Shadow Shaman indeed is one.

I am so so angry at players that pick heroes that are good pushers just to keep them in teamfights. At the outskirts of teamfights, that is.

One of my favorite pushers is Chaos Knight.

Add this item to his inventory (add a bit of Vladmir's Offering and maybe a Hyperstone) and see how your creeps are OP against the enemies'.

And on Chaos Knight it's a good replacement for Drum of Endurance as it provides 66% more INT aside TWO warriors that have GREAT abilities!

Now why would I need INT on Chaos Knight? For his low cooldown disables, of course! 10 seconds and 6 seconds are nuke cooldowns.

I even made a guide for Chaos Knight that you'll find here.

Hope you'll like it, ^^

Beastmaster, Atropos, (sometimes) Lycanthrope. Also nice against carrys that need mana.
NOTE: You get TrueSight on the 3rd level of Necronomicon so you need to finish it, unlike Dagon..

Great item, for obvious reasons. Pick it up on clock and watch as they slaughter anyone you catch in your device trap.

so super strong on Beastmaster. You just surround them with all your creeps after you stun ^^

This item is an absolute godsend during most games. If they have a hero with stealth or carries with little mana but need that mana to do all their tricks, it can be great. Usually goes on heroes with a lot of CC like Atropos.

hmm I think i'd most definitely like to practice with this one, but the champs I've been looking at trying at are storm spirit, pugna and morphling and idk how good it'd be with those heros.
