Perhaps changing how Chronosphere works could be a solution. I could see it working like an Epicenter, channeling it and activating in an AOE around void. His would require careful positioning but would make it so he can't just hide in fog and jump anyone he wants out of nowhere, but gives time to react.

So a basic summary of this idea:
Faceless Void channels the power of time for a short delay before freezing an area around him in time.... And basically apply Chronoshpere in an area around void.

I think this wouldn't be too drastic of a need, but allow Void to still be a useful hero.

How about allowing usage of items when in chrono?
Midgame it's still the strongest setup for some ults, but lategame when bkbs and euls and ghost scepter are available Chrono does a lot less. And there's still the danger of being damaged by dagon or similar items.

Dagon and Eul's Scepter of Divinity will be totally useless. Because there is that small direction you need to face, so an inch away from the target will still required it to turn juuuuuust a little. And you cannot turn inside Chronosphere

I think he meant - you can use Eul's Scepter of Divinity on yourself. I believe it does not require any movement to cast Cyclone on yourself. Heroes like Death Prophet with enabled Exorcism and Eul'ed inside the Chronosphere, hmm... That should be tested if that wouldn't be an overnerf.

How about Force Staff, or - my God - Heaven's Halberd? Abyssal Blade would be an issue as well, also Blade Mail. Mekansm usage to 30 minutes would be something huge.

Doesn't Heaven's Halberd and Abyssal Blade require the hero to be facing the target?
In that case they would still be useless inside Chronosphere unless Void decides to position himself in front of his target inside the Chronosphere.

Force Staff and Blink Dagger would allow anyone caught in the Chronosphere to escape which is a very big nerf, but right now Chronosphere is basically a better Black Hole in pro matches.

Force Staff yes, Blink Dagger no. Requires facing for blink. Force staff, on the other hand, is casted on self

Wouldn't you be able to blink in the direction you're facing when caught in the Chronosphere ?

Cooldown : 120/110/100, Aghanim's Scepter : 100/90/80
OR
Only Faceless Void can damage enemies while in Chronosphere.
I've done strange heroes.
I'm gonna come back soon.
With new heroes.
With strange mechanics in it.
This is gonna be "strange..."

No don't be one of those people. Asking for a nerd is like saying "I don't know how to counter this hero! Let's petition for a nerf so I can win every game!" No, just deny creeps in the lane nd you will be just fine. If you really are worried about Chrono, silence him when you sense he might use it and run.

Maybe, just maybe, have it be the slow and a silence, and then have ages make it like it is already. Just maybe but i don't like it.
