Best Hero To Pick Up A Dagon: Revealed !!!

in pubs this can work, but with the same amount of farm, Venomancer or any other support hero who got some farm, will be outcarried by any "real" carry, because they don't have any spells or passives that scale into lategame

veno works so well as support because even he is only able to use Gale + Ult he deals more or less full damage in a teamfight, even if he dies intantly after the use of the spells. he just doesn't need items to do his job

Look, any hero works as any role in pubs, but it will never work in competitive playing.

If I may, Any hero can be played as a carry in a pub, even a Crystal maiden with 2 mkbs and a Bkb. Venomancer can be played both ways, in fact he is designed as a multi-role, as his skill set provides. In fact, Venomancer(if his ult is on you) can out dps a viper with the same Carry or dps items. But its venomancers other skills and rather fragility that would rather put him in the back lines as a support. Mainly his pushing ability with his wards, I have seen him built in many MANY different ways, he swayed to the role of assist/support when they changed his ult, so it could not kill you.

Point being, have to look outside the cookie box on heroes. Natures prophet has had the same skill set for a very very long time. When he came out he was a bomb *** support/ gank but never considered a carry. Today more and more people play him as carry/gank instead. Which btw he is one of those heroes a dagon is awesome on.

Lion, Puck, Pugna, Storm Spirit, Tinker, Wisp, Witch Doctor.

All of them are great Dagon carriers as they already have nukes that can bring enemies down to little hp, so they can use Dagon as a finisher. But nevertheless all scrubs do is killsteal with it. Oh yeah, I forgot:

The BEST Dagon carrier is Anti-Mage. No joke.

Hero counters: I know Lion is supposed to counter Morphling, but honestly I just don't like him as a hero due to his squishiness. I know if he's positioned correctly it can be devastating, but why not farm a Dagon instead? It's expensive, but if your carry can farm it without sacrificing too much out of his core items, it may be enough to give you an advantage. Plus, it will force Morphling to keep a larger Strength pool. I'm sure this could also be effective against heroes like Huskar (albeit ineffective once he gets a BKB).

The argument against carries using Dagon, is that most of their skills require or improve their right-clicking.

However, I have always like the phrase "If it works, it works."

Man what about Doom? or Lina? Or Zues? Or Chen? Or Silent Assasin? Or Warlock???

Alot of you forge tinker, a good 550 dmg from laser and rocket + lvl 5 dagon = alot of hp removal, the ult and start all over. All in the course of less than 4 seconds.

Lol Over kill but if you have the mana and the money for it then why not?!
