Personally I get a dagon on witch doctor, especially if theres an invis hero present or someone with a stupid escape like animage or qop. cask+maledict+dagon (ult if you manage to get it off) = any hero dead.

Nyx is the best and really only hero designed for a dagon..

Furion is an option - it might be a 'pub troll' build - but if you rush farm it, you can provide some solid lane control for your carry..

Generally, Dagon is something you want to pick up on high burst heroes such as . I used to see it a lot on as well. I can also recommend it on as his amplifies the damage of the Dagon increasing his nuking potential.

i have seen a Dagon used on bounty hunter very effectively but this was in pub so may not count for much
