Pudge - A detailed guide to the Butcher

Introduction

In the Fields of Endless Carnage, far to the south of Quoidge, a corpulent figure works tirelessly through the night--dismembering, disembowelling, piling up the limbs and viscera of the fallen that the battlefield might be clear by dawn. In this cursed realm, nothing can decay or decompose; no corpse may ever return to the earth from which it sprang, no matter how deep you dig the grave. Flocked by carrion birds who need him to cut their meals into beak-sized chunks, Pudge the Butcher hones his skills with blades that grow sharper the longer he uses them. Swish, swish, thunk. Flesh falls from the bone; tendons and ligaments part like wet paper. And while he always had a taste for the butchery, over the ages, Pudge has developed a taste for its byproduct as well. Starting with a gobbet of muscle here, a sip of blood there...before long he was thrusting his jaws deep into the toughest of torsos, like a dog gnawing at rags. Even those who are beyond fearing the Reaper, fear the Butcher.

Skills

is Pudge's bread and butter. Known for it's ****ty range at level 1 and known for its imba range when it's maxed.

is a AoE DoT that damages Pudge and enemies around him. Note that you can heal yourself with a Healing Salve when you're rotting as long as it's not level 4.
Rot also does not work while you are Hex'd, even though the animation is playing.

Straight up STR and magic resist boost. The former one being that you can find kills but shouldn't be that hard considering you're Pudge

is what makes Pudge a viable ganking hero versus Heroes with escape mechanisms.The range is 150~ish the damage is fairly decent.

Items

Standard regen items and 3 Iron Branches into a Bottle and Boots of Speed.

After that get your Urn of Shadows to heal up and have a mini DoT Venomous Gale then the overpowered Magic Wand.

Go for Arcane Boots, Power Treads or Tranquil Boots.
If you went for Tranquil Boots dissassemble them into your boots of choice and Hood of Defiance

Get Force Staff after your Hood of Defiance. Force Staff make for wacky hooks and mobility for Pudge is much appreciated. Lots of Smoke of Deceit just for good measures.

Now for the big guns, Shiva's Guard, Heart of Tarrasque are great items for tanking and Pipe of Insight for your team and 11 hp regen is no joke. Added bonus it only costs you 1503 gold considering you've Hood of Defiance done that is. Boots of Travel to replace your current boots to make ganking that much easier.

Laning

Block creeps at the 0.00 mark. Harass the enemy with Rot if thou's a melee Hero. Kill the enemy when you have your level 2 Meat Hook. If there's no good openings, continue farming and gank when you get level 6.

Easy, right?

Team Work

Anyone that can hold your target intact is an ally.

Anyone that eats through hp is a tough foe and silences **** you up.

Summary

Pudge in a nutshell is a ganker who surprises the **** outta' the opposing team implying they don't have wards that is. He's pretty much a Night Stalker without fast movespeed and of cause, don't have to wait for night to settle in.
