Don't lie, you always skip Drums. :D

My last 2 matches, both times I got Drum.

I never lie, I just exaggerate sometimes. 8{3

That is weird. Granted, you don't need them every game, but if you're going to be fighting early (more often that not if you're not the Safe Lane Farmer), then the Stats help you to survive and get stuff done, while the Aura helps the rest of your Team. Popping the Drum with 2 or 3 other Heroes around when Pushing a Tier 1 is a good way to get it down that much faster.

No one else bought it, and you definitely would have benefitted from it this game as you want to destroy the 2 rat Heroes before they pick up speed. 8{(

These days though if I don't go Drum of Endurance after Phase Boots, I go Maelstrom. Since I won't be fighting early, I can Farm faster, Push and deal more hurt to anyone that dares Lane against me >8{D

Like almost any other Item Manta Style should be gotten for its Active. Since there was a Jakiro carrying Dust of Appearance and a Diffusal Blade on Phantom Lancer (did you know you can Purge the Purge? >8{D ), Manta Style might be legit here, but only if you're getting caught by these Items. Illusions are nice for Split-Pushing, but even in Low Tier Pubs, you don't want to try out Ratting a PL and a Terrorblade.

Desolator is a good Item to get if you want to constantly GO HAM and win before 40:00, Heroes usually only have about 11ish Armour around this stage, so -7 Armour drops their Physical Resistance from 40% to 20%. It's great at teh stage before Heroes start bulking up on Armour, as even a simple Vladmir's Offering drastically reduces its effectiveness. If game is going past 40:00 though, Daedalus is better.

Pretty good over all, no "bad" Item choices whatsoever (probably why I forgot to mention it X{D )

These are perfectly good starting Items for Mid/Safe Lane Mirana, you get enough Stats to secure Last Hits and due to your long Attack Range, you don't really take much harrassfrom most Heroes, so 1 set of Tango]es is enough (especially since you got a [[Bottle)

Ring of Aquila and Phase Boots are a solid choice, they both give you better Damage for Farming against Invoker, and Phase gives you good Mobility for Ganking.

Drum of Endurance was a smart pickup, since they started grouping up early, having fast Stats and a cheap Aura is always good in early Teamfights.

Manta Style is the only questionable Item here. Its not a bad pickup, but since you were grouped up a lot, you weren't using the Illusions to Split-Push, and the only thing you needed Purging was the Silence from Puck, but if you stay back in fights, you should be able to avoid it. You've already got enoguh Mobility from Phase Boots + Drum of Endurance + Leap, so I'm not sure you needed any more.

A Maelstrom might have been better, it increases your Damage output significantly, don't underestimate those Lightning Procs 8{D

-_-

I do want to try it out without manta now. I forget about that item alot. I have been having a couple good ones... Then a bad one here and there.

here are some matches (first one decent, second one all assists)

In the first match the Manta Style was actually a good pick because I believe it disspells Bloodseeker's silence; in the second one your gold and gpm were pretty low, but I can't say much else because I haven't watched it. Manta is good when you are behind because it gives a bit of everything, but the Maelstrom is better if you want to farm quicker after a bad start.

Manta Style doesn't dispel Bloodrage as of 6.81.
There's no earthy way of knowing which direction we are going. There's no knowing where we're rowing, or which way the river's flowing. Is it raining, is it snowing? Is a hurricane a-blowing? Not a speck of light is showing, so the danger must be growing. Are the fires of Hell a-glowing? Is the grisly Reaper mowing?! YES! The danger must be growing! For the rowers keep on rowing! And there's certainly not showing ANY SIGNS THAT THEY ARE SLOWING!

Hit that Rep button, you know you want to.

Judging from the measly amount of Last Hits on everyone (except Enigma 8{O ), I'm guessing you won this match via early 5-man. Considering there was nothing for Manta Style to Purge (learn mechanics Peppo 8{3 ), and Illusions will fall to AoE instantly, I would have gone Maelstrom here instead of Manta Style, for sure this time. Lightning Procs in 5-man Fights are...amazing!

Not to mention, you have the option to Farm and Split-Push while the other Team idles Mid. 8{3
2nd Game however, I'm guessing you were the Support, in which case, building a Manta Style is better, since you're not going to have much space to Split-Push or Farm. It's pretty much the same Item Build I use on Roaming/Support Mirana

Yeah, I wasn't sure about it, but as it goes through BKB it makes sense.

Question how will I know in game when its the right time to get or avoid a certain item. For example how will I know to not get drums or to not get manta over another item. Also should I also do my wraith braid with tango run?

watch singsing play mirana and he hits crazy arrows. Also watched a WR player hit some amazing shackleshots!
