As I know Nyx Assassin Impale got nerfed do to newbie players did not know how to counter him and cried for nerf. I know always when someone picked Nyx Assassin they did not take heroes who counter him, instead they choose heroes they liked. Hero counters: Spirit Breaker, Lion, Outworld Devourer, Bounty Hunter, Slark but only being mid with these heroes against Nyx Assassin. Now Nyx Assassin is hardly even picked, do to thinking if him he was "OP". Question: Why not pick Nyx Assassin now, is he low or something or you over did it with the nerf in 6.79 and 6.80.

The only one I actually liked was the Anchor Smash one.The rest would just make the heroes overpowered.300 damage on Primal Roar at level 1?Would mean instagibbing anyone in an early fight.


Also the Mist Coil one is absurd, it has a 5 second cooldown and would deal 320 damage.What?Not to mention that Abs can just shield himself and mitigate that damage + bursting the shield.

All skills that you mentioned are more of an utility skill, making them deal more damage would just destroy the balance.Why not just give Ravage a global range and make it deal 1k damage with aghs.

For example, Wild Axes in your version would deal 510 damage at max level.Also, the reason Slithereen Crush deals so low damage is because of amplify damage.If you stun an enemy while amplified, that stun deals more than any standard nuke in the game.

Also Mist Coil cd can be increased 7 or 8 seconds. This is just the suggestion you I'm not the one buffing and nerfing the heroes. You can also add your suggestion, and which you meant that the heroes will be overpowerd, so that means Nyx Assassin was "OP"? I forgot to mention the only best counter to Nyx Assassin:

My thoughts on this are that most of these changes are uneeded.

I'd change Slardar's Slithereen Crush stun from a scaling stun to 2 seconds at all levels, allow Abaddon to target himself with Mist Coil. When Drunken Haze is applied to the target if they are damaged by his fire spirit's Permanent Immolation it will reset the buff and deal damage over time equal to the amount of Permanent Immolation, at the end of the duration the debuff is consumed to deal an additional 100 damage and ministuns. Increase the radius of Impale from 125 to 150, or revert it back to allow it to be casted on target unit and reduce the stun duration by .27.

Sry buddy, but those changes are nothing more than a bunch of thoughtless buffs, which would make (most of) them totally broken... for instance the Storm Hammer change....i mean ...wtf?!

i dont think that having a 320 damage nuke on a 5 second cooldown would make Abbadon "balanced".
giving Huskar more than a 100% magic resistance (when low enough on health) also shows, that you havent really put any thought in some of those changes.

i also agree with Wulfstan about his statement on Slithereen Crush and Wild Axes

So you're saying most of them are going to be broken. Does this include Nyx Assassin's Impale and Huskar's Agility 20 + 2.4 decreased to 15 + 1.4?

well .... for the nyx dmg increase i wouldnt say that i would make his impale OP ...tbh i think that it would be "ok", as with magic resistance it would mean a 30 damage increase. But since his impale has the potential damage multiple heroes at once id say its ok, as it is now.

But lets keep in mind, that both (Huskar and Nyx) are niche-heroes, whoms main purpose is to punish heavy caster teams. And those heroes naturally should be weak to physical DPS heroes. Therefor an agility increase (and therefor armor) for Huskar seems to be a bit out of place. With his original agi(gain) he would have about 7 armor at level 25....with your suggested stat-changes he would have 11, making him able to even go toe to toe with lategame-hardcarries, to whom he is INTENDED to be inferior. Also you have to take into account, that his base Attack speed would be increased, which would make his Berserker's Blood (especially with your suggested 25% per instance) too strong imo.

Ok we don't need to increase the damage of Impale, but the thing that bugs me is that they changed it from Targeting Unit to Targeting Point just like Pudge's Meat Hook and Mirana's Sacred Arrow which totally knocked Nyx Assassin down, and know he is hardly even picked. But I play him, I don't got problem casting Impale, cause of my trained Meat Hook and Sacred Arrow landings for years.
