I don't have time to watch this replay sadly, but I would recommend you watching it in "Free Camera" and set the Fog to "Radiant". That way, you can see what your opponent sees, and thus how well hidden you were. This is the most crucial aspect of playing Pudge. It's easier to land Hooks on people who can't see you.

Just looking at dotabuff it looks like you did ok, I think I wouldn't have built the pipe and left it as a hood in favor of another item, probably either aghs or force staff.

I wouldn't have even built the Hood of Defiance, there's almost no Magic Damage on the there Team, certainly not enough to justify an entire Pipe of Insight. The idea behind Rot is that you have more HP than your victims do, providing you keep yourself Healed up. Your Bottle and Urn of Shadows were more than enough early on and they don't cost you much, so you're still getting a fast Blink Dagger with enough Kills.

Personally, I wouldn't have upgraded to Phase Boots. You're not going to be chasing people through the Creep Wave if you land Meat Hook and Dismember properly, so Brown Boots or Tranquil Boots are much better. It's a nice upgrade, but it delays your Blink Dagger by another 900 Gold. 8{(

Funny thing about that. The riki didn't play like pub level. He really knew what he was doing.
On a side note, I hooked him three times.

Probably a smurf, don't feel bad then...

Mek isn't a support item, it's a tank item. Bristleback should be buying it over Vanguard.

Also, this ^ I really hate it when Bristlebacks buy Vanguard, there's always something more useful they could be buying 99% of the time. D{X

Agreed.. Either Bristleback or Ogre Magi should have gone for a Mekansm depending on the game..

Also, Armlet of Mordiggian on a Drow Ranger????!?! What blasphemy is this?

P.S: I'm not a fan of Vanguard on a Bristleback.. Also, I'm not sure why he went for Radiance that late.. I mean, if you are building a Radiance, rush it first item so it's most effective before enemies get decent HP, in which case you shouldn't be building a Vanguard since it falls off after early game.. Vanguard and Radiance don't make sense together..

I'm a great fan of pudge, my best game was 23-5-17
From the stats and the Dotabuff you just wrecked, pudge is a very fun and powerful hero, you did well I guess :3
