It's weird when you have 2 allies random Phantom Lancer and Spectre in the beginning, and no one on the enemy team make any effort to counterpick them with any AOE disables, nor does anyone pick up a Silver Edge or something. I mean we were still getting curbstomped early on because of the greed of our draft, but every fight after 40ish minutes was easily won, just no easy game victory because lack of pushing, a bunch of enemies ratting, and MKBs on the cores did not come until way later.

And then this game was the followup game right afterwards, featuring Sofa, where the enemies ran an Invoker as their safelane carry, and I got to be a Position 2 Semi-Carry SK, so that was fun. Turns out its really really hard to teamfight late game Elder Titan, even with Voker Refresher, Abaddon Aghs, and the power of Force Staff Axe.

Hurricane Pike SeemsGood so far. De-facto a TD record for me(I have 14k with Zet but it used to be way too easy with him so this doesn't count). Actually I have big hopes for 100% rat MoM-Aquila-Pike-BoTs-SB build without Treads and BKB. I can't do anything to Svens, Slarks and Timbers anyway.

Honestly if my teammates didn't farm jungle or roam around the map with no purpose while 3-4 heroes are trying to ambush me games would've been so easy.

I don't know if that's even possible to catch Luna with Pike, SB and almost max MS unless it's a full team commitment. Cores don't have slot for dust, and even then you have 508 ms instead of 522 under dust so it makes no difference. Supports can't defend alone usually, you can just tank whatever they throw at you and them when someone actually scary TPs you force away and TP/go invis.

And you also get Scan every few minutes which was actually a huge buff for rat heroes and not for smoke gankers/turtling like everyone thought at first.

Yup. I'm doing that with Clinkz, it works like a charm. Pike of rat = best item.




True, the duration is 8 seconds so it's great tool to use defensively. It's still a way to counter Smoke of Deceit abuse like sitting smoked on a cliff in front of Rosh waiting for the enemy team to walk in, that's why it was created IMO.

I never thought I would ever say that, but Hamster is a ****ing genius. Hurricane Pike is actually so good on Luna you can get it even when you're going to fight and ppl can't cancel your blink.

You can just build it every game and will be good when you're gonna be splitpushing and good when you're not. With blink you had to do nothing in a fight until BKBs and **** wear out and your team often died during that time. Now with Pike you can actually hit someone with Lance+Skadi and if they start focusing you you pike away, or if they don't, you pike into them with ulti and thrash everything.

Completely destroyed that game even tho I had 300 ping for half of the game.
