Great guide actually before I read this guide Im playing abaddon like this..

Phase boot is great with abaddon, with the movement speed and the bonus damage, but if I m gettign a lot of harassment early on, i prefer to have a tranquil boots.

As you said, Mask of Madness and blademail I think is a must for abaddon, it help help you farm fast and kill fast with your ultimate ready and skillset, you can take anybody one on one.

I always play abaddon a Carry/tanker with this items A tranquil boots, blademailmail mask of madness, cranium basher /crystalis, aghanims sceptre and heart of tar***que. but of course you must coordinate with your team to be at your back.
Its funny when all their attacks focus on you, with a blademail and shield at the end of the clash you are the one in a full health and they're all dead...

Maxing Curse of Avernus over Mist Coil is bad. Coil's a good nuke for kill stealing and has low cd. If u dont get it early, u might as well skip it and go stats. Also Soul Ring is an always midgame core item, coz u need to Aphotic Shield your allies on cd for aoe nuke. Also Soul Ring + Mist Coil is the best way to deny yourself (most basic nukes are more than 150 hp and less than 300).

Most carry Abaddon builds make Curse of Avernus the core skill. It is a good ability but not the best the hero has. Be sure to shield and heal important supports in fights.

Also with Silver Edge one actually does simply kill Abaddon. Sometimes u can Borrowed Time manually. But Silver Edge + Orchid Malevolence + any kinda stun = dead abaddon. 3 to 4k players usually ain't so smart, but sometimes they re.

Is Shadow Blade/Silver Edge ever a good item for carry Abaddon? I've played a few games as hard carry Abaddon myself, I've found that sometimes I could've really used it... Running away and Initiating.

Your guide looks very nice, but I cant agree with the role you gave abbadon here. He looks like a core and he has no mana regeneration. Abbadon can not manfight any real carry in an even game. so I would suggest rushing euls and maybe a mek, so you can save your cores *** with the short cooldown of his skills.

You can swap the Abyssal Blade for an Eye Of Skadi and the moment you get this item No Hero (Including High Evasion heroes but not those who can go invisible) can escape plus on a one on one you practically already killed you're enemy also consider Blink Dagger if an enemy Shadow Fiend is around cuz the moment his Requim Of Souls gets casted (Animation Delay) Blink very Close to him and Active Borrowed Time and watch the guy Rage at you (You not only help anyone who wouldn't have survived but you also get a free Heal)

Why don't you say to get Eye of Skadi and then build into a Satanic and Vladimir's Offering? That pretty much makes you impossible to kill, though that's just my opinion, I'm a terrible Abaddon player so my ideas probs aren't very valid, but I think Skadi before life steal would give you an even better slow than just Orb of Venom and Curse of Avernus :D
