Who do you guys think has the best aghs upgrade! Not always who its best to get it on (for itemizations sake), but which heroes upgrade is the best.

My pick is Timbersaw. It simply gives you an Ult #2 to work with which feels extremely powerful(not to mention fun) to me.

Pugna- Life Drain is a pain in the *** with an aghs. Seriously, so annoying.

Necrophos- We all know the changes, and we all agree that it's a stupid upgrade

Witch Doctor- The bounces on Death Ward is nuts! So many rampage compilations.

Earth Spirit- The ultimate mispositioner.

Earthshaker- aghs act like a Semi- Refresher Orb. Almost double the echo damage.

Phoenix- If used well this can act like an Aegis of the Immortal. Insanely scary on hard carries. Hard to pull off without dying though.

For me it's between Witch Doctor, Ogre Magi and Clockwerk.

Death Ward with all the bounces is just brilliant. As stated above.

Unrefined Fireblast. Getting that second stun, which is always available, really add's to his lategame effectiveness and makes him very, VERY, fun to play.

Getting the 12 second cooldown on Hookshot changes him so much. He can use it like Timbersaw uses Timber Chain (to an extent). You can fly around the map, throw hooks out and it get's into the enemies head. Kinda like having a Pudge the enemy team are always on edge.

They are my favourite, but as for the actual best?

Necrophos. Reapers Schythe is bordering on broken. You want anti-meta? Here he is. Get aghs + Refresher Orb and put that Troll Warlord and Sniper to sleep forever.

Omniknight. 10 seconds physical invulnerability every 2 minutes from Guardian Angel? And for buildings? Christ.

Disruptor's Static Storm is brilliant. a 7 second AOE Doom that deals a potential 1515 damage? Get the right team and this is brutal. The only reason it isn't in my personal favourites is because i never build it! Always the #6 on Disruptor, so i f i get my Arcanes and Force Staff im happy. One of the reason's i like him so much. He doesn't need anything, but if he get's money he does so damn well.

Well define 'best'. The best ult after aghs? How much the increase is between normal and aghs upgrade is?

Timbersaw literally makes his ult twice as good. Which is nice but not amazing.

Earthshakers upgrade is not amazing unless against illlusions or meepo since his double echo only works on heroes including their illusions. Otherwise veil.

Earth spirits aghs is completely rediculous, nuff said. That upgrade should never make into CM.

Stuff like necro and phoenix aghs can potentially win you the game, but it is very situational ofcourse. Removing a hero out of the game or completely healing your storm spirit/medusa is rediculous but not something that happens every game.

Looking purely at how much better it makes the ult death ward trumps all. ****en witch doctor ult man, literally 5 million times as goooood.

Tiny's upgrade is the best imo though. Since you constantly use it once you pick it up, its pretty much a better battle fury with some other added benefits. And the only aghs that you want every game.

Actually, that's a strong shout. If you see a Tiny without a tree something has gone wrong.

Yeah, would have to go with that Tiny shout, you want it on any build...and you get to hit things with a TREE. What more do you want?

Others worthy of note...Disrupter definitely, Ancient Apparition (v strong), Omniknight (removes the need to be a sitting duck in the middle of your team), Enigma's is very strong, but difficult to build in sometimes. Witch Doctor - hell yes.

Necrophos, Clockwerk and Huskar's also very good in my book. 65% current health loss on a 4 second CD?

Abaddon's is pretty tidy, Dark Seer, Lich's can be useful, Lion, Razor, etc call worth a mention.

KOTL's and Night Stalker's both have good utility, but not compulsory.

Thread hack here a bit... What exactly does Night Stalker's do? I hear people say when you have him with aghs + a gem it's a maphack. Is it just that it gives him flying vision at night? (Which is obviously nice...)

Yes, although "just" doesn't really do it justice :). Basically you have flying true sight in a large radius (1800) around the hero, over trees, cliffs and everything else. Makes it pretty much impossible for the other team to get the drop on you, especially if they have reduced 675 night vision thanks to Darkness. Also great for Ward sweeping, there's literally nowhere you can put them he won't see.

KOTL's is the opposite - daytime flying vision, so the enemy suffers less in comparison. However, he also gets permanent Spirit Form, which is pretty nice.

Yeah, that is a bit good! Him plus a big initiator is a lethal combo.
