Lycanthrope - Short but concise guide

Introduction

Hello and welcome to Takufunkai's first guide to Lycanthrope .
This is my very first guide so , please excuse any errors or bugs I have accidentally made .

Banehallow was noble-born to the house of Ambry, the greatest of the landed castes in the old kingdom of Slom. Before the Fall, as the Kings wants grew strange, and his court grew crowded with sorcerers and charlatans, the house of Ambry was the first to rise against the avarice of the throne. No longer willing to pay homage and fealty, they instead sent six-thousand swords into the capital, where they were wiped out in the Massacre of the Apostates. And then came the teeth behind the old truth: When you strike a kings neck, you had better take his head.

Enraged by the betrayal, the king exterminated the vast Ambry bloodline, sparing only the lord of the house and his youngest son, Banehallow. Before all the royal court, with the disgraced lord chained to the ornate marble floor, the King bade his magicians transform the boy into a wolf so that he might tear out his own fathers throat. Do this, the king said, so that Lord Ambry will understand the bite of betrayal. Powerful magic was invoked, and the child was transformed. But though his body was changed, his spirit remained intact, and instead of biting the exposed neck of his father, he attacked his handlers, tearing them to pieces. A dozen of the Kings knights perished under the wolfs teeth before they managed to drive it off into the night. Lord Ambry laughed from his chains even as the King ran him through with a sword. Now the heir to the lost house of Ambry, Banehallow wanders the trail as the Lycan, part warrior, part wolf, in search of justice for all that he lost.

Sniff so saddening . Alright , onto the real guide .

Please let me know of ANY errors or point out pointers that you think should or should not be included , or would like to share a discussion in the comments below !

Pros/Cons

The most basic of 'em all ,
Lycanthrope's Pros and Cons

Pros ,
Has two invisible , highly skilled and high critical wolves with the ability to solo kill any middle health hero .
Good , almost no flaw for jungling during the 5-10mins of the game .
One of the arguably hardest hero to escape from , due to the unslowable max haste boost .
Good damage and critical late game , good hp and survivability potential early game and good ganking potential mid game .
Has global damage boost .
Solo-roshan potential .
Terrific pusher .

Cons ,
Low mana throughout the game , although will be sufficient later in the game .
Will be of no use if underfarmed or underleveled .
Easy target from level 1-6 .
Has no laning potential early game for beginners .
Without Black King Bar , will lose control of gank easily .

Done !

What to do if there is ..

This is the What to do if there is (insert Gay Imba Hero) section .

What to do if there is ..
Nature's Prophet - Get a Quelling blade
Stunner - Get BKB (You were supposed to do it)
Techies - Get gem or sentry
Mana leechers like Lion or Silencer - Get an arcane boots] instead or get a [[Perseverance
Slower like Crystal Maiden or Drow Ranger - Don't even play Lycan . You're too dumb to play him if you attempted to ask this question .
Blinker like Queen of Pain or [[Anti-mage] - There really isnt much of an issue , though if they are farming too much and you can't kill them fast enough , get maybe a [Item=Orchid Malevolence]Orchid Malevolence or Sheepstick .
The rest .. should be easy to solve .

Items

Lycanthrope has a rather average amount of items to choose from .
For example ,
some people love to push , some , like me , love to gank and feed on people .
So now , I will show you how to decide what to get for early game .

The item guide I have above is the gank and feed on people guide , use that as reference .

push , most people love to buy necromonicon . Some love to go straight in for radiance , some love to go for Mordiggian .

But for me , here are some of the good items .
Black King Bar<--- MUST.NO EXCEPTIONS. Vladmir's offering Skull basher Power Treads Necronomicon Abyssal Blade Urn of shadows Aegis of the Immortal Medallion of Courage Desolator / Eye of Skadi Radiance<--- Not recommended

NOT TO GET :
Butterfly Daedalus Aghanim's Scepter

Rest of the items are opinion-based items .

HOW TO JUNGLE WELL .

As a regular Lycan player , I must say jungling isn't the easiest during the super-early levels for Lycan , especially when his health , mana and wolves are still lousy .

Here is a helpful guide of jungling methods :

First , at the 0:45 Time mark before the game officially begins , summon your wolves and send one each to the two runespots .Now , you kill the easy camp for sentinel and for scourge .
Figure which is which yourself .
The best is to kill them before the 1 min mark , so that you can have 2 easy camps to kill in a minute which easily makes you level 2 .
If you are not able to do so before the 1 minute mark , stack the creeps instead .
Check the youtube video below for guides on stacking

Just switch wolves everytime one is dying - Two wolves damages are better than one .

If you made a big mistake in jungling like messing up the order , you will be SLIGHTLY underfarmed , which is alright as long as you know how to make up for it .

Try to farm on the easier ones , then go onto the harder ones asap .

As an alternative , you could replace tangos for clarity

Guide to which creeps to farm on and which not to .

Ranking of creeps :
Easiest : The 5 Gnolls
The Ghosts
The flying animals
Mud golems
Wolves
2 Centaurs
3 Rikis
4 Rikis
2 Wildkins

From level 1-6 , don't touch the centaurs , the rikis and the wildkins without a Vladmir . It will waste your time and effort and especially precious mana and health .

Team Work

This is how you're supposed to assist your teammates .

Stand from afar , always come in the middle but not when 2 or more have died , thats too late . Youre supposed to come in JUST before one is about to die and kill them all .

AND ALWAYS PUSH .

Always got into BKB mode/Godmode and kill the disabler , as in of my video its Invoker . Then , the killer , as in of my video its PA/Drow . By now your wolf mode is off so focus on pushing mainly .
Try not to die .
