Two Unrelated Questions

First Question:
I am the worst AM player on the face of the planet (I generally don't do well with hard-hard-carries). I usually get pretty decent farm in the laning phase and usually outfarm in the earl-midgame, but after that, I just don't feel like I have any space. The enemy team always pushes for teamfights. Should I participate in these? Also, what's a good AM build that doesn't include Battle Fury? Is there one?

Second Question:
Evasion stacks diminishingly. So... if i have six Talisman of Evasions, how much evasion will I have and why?

Cant give worthwhile tips, but AM is all about farming faaaaast. BF outclasses other items on farm fir him since it gave the wave clear AND mana regen

For the first question, you can go something as
Poor Man's Shield/ Power Treads ==> Drum of Endurance ==> Yasha + Black King Bar ==> Manta Style ==> Monkey King Bar / Daedalus / Abyssal Blade.
This items give you a better teamfight presence. You can get Maelstrom too, if you want to farm a little bit.

I was testing an Armlet Illusion Anti-Mage, but I don't think it's a good idea unless you are familiar with Armlet control.

For the second question, according to the Wiki, the formula is:
[ 1 - (1 - first source of evasion) x (1 - second source of evasion) ... x (1 - n-source of evasion)] x 100
by your items, it would be:
[1 - (0.75^6)] x 100 = 82% Evasion.

battlefury is an amazing item on anti mage because of his ultra-spammable Blink enables him to zip through the jungle at lightning speeds and still be in time for the creep clash to farm the creep lane.

It depends, obviously, you can't just let the ohter Team win the game, but don't feel you have to rush to defend every Tier 1 every time the other Team try to Push it. Defend Tier 2s and go for easy Kills, but focus on getting Farmed as fast as possible

There isn't, the Farm Speed lost by not getting Battle Fury just isn't worth it. Only ever pick Anti-Mage if you feel confident enough to get 13 minute Battle Fury at the latest.

Some people will advocate Vanguard + Vladmir's Offering, but AM is incredibly weak unles he Outfarms the other Team by a significant degree. 8{(

(1 - (1 - 0.25) ^ 6) == 83.2%

P.S., you get 25, 44.75, 58.82, 68.36, 76.27, 83.2% with each Talisman of Evasion

Second Question:

KuroKy played AM in the XMG Captain's Draft without battlefury, and OWNED the game with it. He literally had over 10k gold in his bank and bought a Butterfly AND a Heart in one go. XD

Actually Anti-Mage is a pretty good early fighter for the same reason why he's not such a hard carry : besides his blink, his skills are mainly early-mid game skills that rely on burst damage. Actually he can really be played in a Queen of Pain style, as a very mobile hero who can quickly snipe out of position targets.

Get a survivability item ( Vanguard or Drum of Endurance), get some regen with Urn of Shadows, Bottle or Magic Wand, get an early Manta Style followed by a Skull Basher, and you're set to fight.

This is only truly effective against high mana pool enemies though, because you rely on good Mana Voids in teamfights.

AM is also a situational midlane hero because he's really good against melee mids (you see a lot of AM mid in competitive actually).
