Strongest 1v1 Hero

Troll scales better in lategame then ursa, so that depends on what moment in the game. Void is kind of an obvious choice because he disables his opponent and removes evasion with chrono, and his bash makes fighting him hard. Chaos knight is also REALLY high up there but relies on his ult.

I would like to give a shoutout to morphling on the subject of manfighting, his autoattack is so damn strong and very consistent, his autoattacks also dont rely on bursting like TA, or crits or bashes. He just hits REALLY hard REALLY fast.
He is also better at winning such a fight in practice thanks to his mobility, void without ult is really kiteable, and so is troll to a lesser extend.

Wraith king also shouldnt be underestimated, his crits in combination with his lifesteal and some attack speed items makes him so hard to fight head on.

The thing is, anything that disables items and passives ( Duel, Doom) can disable all permabashers (Faceless), evasion (Blur), etc.

Aren't you guys gonna even consider Meepo?

A 1400 damage AOE nuke from Poof will f@#$ up any illusion hero. A 100% slow with a 14 damage per second for 2 seconds(280 damage in all) and a some nets from Earthbind are great to stop kiting. And if you get to kill doom bringer but he's pesky ult is still up, you can always deny yourself :D

The fact that your fighting 5 Meepos will make any carry shake in their Boots of Speed :P

so ive looked at this and i think that it needs a bit of clarification.

scenario 1:

two heroes face off in the middle of the river.

they are both level 25 but neither has any items.

which hero would win against any other hero they face?

scenario 2:

two heroes face off in the middle of the river.

both are 6 slotted and level 25.

which hero would win against any other hero they face?

scenario 3:

two heroes face off in the middle of the river.

both are level 25.

neither has any items and both are doomed.(with out the damage)

which hero would win against any other hero they face?

scen2: Faceless Void just too stronk with Chronosphere and Backtrack
scen3: I HAVE NO IDEA!!!!!!

In Scene 1, Phantom Lancer would win, he creates an infinite army of illusions that troll cannot stop because he is single target.
In Scene 2, A refresher Juggernaut would win because he will Omnislash 24 times and attack inbetween those hits.
In Scene 2, maybe Spirit Breaker Because His bash isn't disabled by doom.

It's a moot question. There is no 'this guy will always win' because Heroes have counters. I counter your Faceless Void with a Spectre and counter Spectre with Terrorblade. Meanwhile, Doom will dump over TB, and in turn get dumped on by Razor (depending on initiation).

I will say there are some stars, though.

Doom cause imba 1v1 ult.

Legion Commander depending on duel damage.

Troll Warlord and Void.

Terrorblade.

Razor is pretty scary if you can't break the link because that is a 448 damage difference between you two (Rapier and a half guys).

That said, Dota is a 5v5 game except in pubs where its 1v9 - while it IS interesting to know who owns who, the discussion is completely invalidated by the fact that there are 8 other players. I've never seen a 1v1 slog-out between two 6-slotted heroes.

Lol, Doom cant kill tb, becouse when you see 5 demons you have chance 1:5 that you will doom righ TB and even than TB will still rape Doom coz his insane damage and lifesteal.
TB is one of the strongest 1vs1 heroes in dota, Legion Commander is weak.
I would say Sven is strongest 1vs1 hero coz he can easy rape even mass ilusion hereos like TB, Phantom Lancer, etc.
Only who can kill 1vs1 Sven is Void becouse of chrono. But if void chrono is on cd than in 1vs1 situations is raped by Sven hard.
And i talking from my experiences, becouse with my friend we trying in cheat mode max farmed carry vs another carry and Sven stand above everybody in 1vs1 due his insane damage and cleave...

And there come red bkb Sven...

Geostrikes damage and more importantly its slow goes through magic immunity

You simply make him chase the low HP Meepo and let the others clobber him :)
