It's back! Usual rules apply...I think this one is probably a little easier than some of the others...so I'll be expecting 100% performances from some of you :). (yeah and the 17-19 on the score chart is meant to be 17-18!)
Pipe of Insight is a really useful item when your team needs to tank up a lot of AOE magic damage. Which hero also gives his nearby allies better survivability against incoming AOE magic damage?
a- Anti-mage
b- Visage
c- Viper
d- Rubick
1 point for the correct answer.
Spoiler: Click to view
D
Rubick's Null Field provides up to 20% magic resistance to nearby allies, while the others skills only increase it for themselves.
Which of these heroes' ultimates can damage buildings? (assume maximum levels and Aghanim's Scepter)
Which of these heroes can heal towers without additional equipment? 1 Bonus points for spotting the other hero can repair buildings with an Aghanim's Scepter.
Glimpse can potentially move an enemy all the way back to their fountain if they have just teleported in.
Slardar's Amplify Damage ability can reduce armour by up to 20. What are the approximate maximum % differences this could make to physical attacks by itself?
a- 15%
b- 35%
c- 55%
d- 75%
e- 95%
1 point for the correct answer.

ii) D
The biggest return of 75% is from 10 to -10.
Damage Over Time (DoT) abilities can be pretty unpleasant to be on the receiving end of. Which of these abilities does the most damage from a single use?
It's worth noting however that Liquid Fire has a 20 second cooldown at level 1, while all of the others can be used almost every attack, albeit some have health/mana costs. Once we get to level 3 and beyond, Poison Sting is easily the most damaging, maxing out at 300 damage. Viper might seem to have by far the weakest orb, but he has the longest range and Nethertoxin to go with it!
Values:
Put these heroes in order of most to least single target total spell combo damage? (assume max levels, standard 25% magic resistance and Aghanim's Scepter)
Lion
Lina
Bane
Tiny
1 point for each correctly placed hero. 1 bonus point for showing your working out with total values within 200 for each hero. (5)

CBAD
1. Bane1857.5 ( Brain Sap and Nightmare aren't effected by magic resistance) 300 + 140 + (1890 x 25% resistance) = 1417.5.
2. Lina1357.5 (280 + 280 + 1250 x 25%r)
3. Lion 963.75 (260 + 1025 x 25%r)
4. Tiny 855 (600 + 540 x 25%r)
Many of DOTA's heroes have backstories that mention others they have met. Can you matchup all of these heroes? (match each hero from List A with one hero from list B)
List A:
Huskar
Bristleback
Skywrath Mage
Crystal Maiden
Shadow Demon
Tidehunter
3. B, Treant Protector. Does Omni's ulti with the Agh's upgrade heal towers, too? I've never tried it.
4. A, Glimpse on a TPed enemy is one of the most hilarious things you can do with him.
5. I don't know, maybe iB iiD? 15% seems too low, while 95% is definitely too high. It's just a random answer though, I'd be very lucky if I got it right.
7. That's a tricky one: by level 25 with an Agh's, Tiny has probably the lowest impact while Bane is somewhere near the top of the list; also, since Lion only has one nuke besides his ulti, I'd put him straight under Lina. The question is, does Bane deal more or less damage than Lina? Considering that Fiend's Grip is a channeling spell, I'd say it does more damage in a longer amount of time. Oh, obviously, I'm considering single target damage, otherwise Lion would be on top of the list. So: Bane Lina Lion Tiny
A strong effort Pep, I've added some more info to the answer for the DoT attacks so you can see the totals. The Slardar question is very difficult - but I thought it was quite an interesting piece of information - I do try to sneak some "teaching" element into these quizzes whenever possible :)

To be fair, #3, Omniknight with an Aghanim's Scepter does heal buildings too AFAIK - which is annoying! However, 250 max heal every 150 seconds ain't much or really the point of the ability. Fair enough, anyone who chooses this out as the answer still gets the point!
Before my answrs, it's time for the obligatory "hide the spoilers from the home page" content. Blah Blah Blah, filler content to hide spoilers. Xyrus-sama rules!!! Wulfstan drools!!! Blah Blah Blah
There is no upper limit to how far he can send someone back, it's simply where they were 4 seconds ago.
5i: A - 15%, ii: C - 75%
This lowest increase is when Armour is already below 0 and the largest effect -20 Armour will have is at 10 Armour, since Armour scales harder at the lowest values, i.e. between -10 and 10 and falls off a higher values, e.g. 20 - 40%.
Eventually, you get less than 1% Damage Reduction/Amplification for each point of Armour, I know that 10 Armour gives about 37.5% as well, so these values are what I'll go with.
I'm pretty sure A and C have terrible scaling and that Liquid Fire eventually deals the most damage. I'm pretty sure that Poison Sting has the longest Duration and it does about 11 Damage, so something like 44 Damage in the end?

It's not difficult, it just requires a bit of knowledge about Armour -> Physical Damage Reduction scaling, hence I NAILED the sencond part <}3
As for the first part
Spoiler: Click to view
There's no cap on how far armour can scale, so A is the closest answer, since while Armour can scale linearly to infinity, Physical Damage Reduction plateaus as it reaches 100%, so you can end up getting even less than 15% from Amplify Damage if the target's Armour is low enough, e.g.
lvl1 Io has basically 0 Armour, while under Shallow Grave, he gets hit by
Haha peppo got their first on #3...may need to rewrite the question slightly.
You were close enough on #7 to get the bonus point from me (you didn't do magic resistance reduction calcs but I'll let you off :)). Have tidied up the question on #5 so that the answer stands - won't penalise you for coming up with something different, as it wasn't specific enough.
