Alright, this is actually one of my more refined ideas. Functionally, she works as a powerful tank support that is built to stand in between allies and enemies, and augment her team's survivability. Nothing particularly offensive-based about this Hero, however the charge mechanic allows her to greatly buff her ally or debuff a dying enemy to more easily secure a kill.

Sidonis, The Guardian Idol

Cons:

- Lackluster damage output even with Obsidian Wings active.
- Requires constant presence near ally to be most effective, which can amplify the effects of spells like Paralyzing Cask and Chain Frost.
- High priority target for silences and disables.
- Very long cooldowns on most spells.
- Poor scaling into the lategame.

Abilities

Obsidian Wings (Q)

Ability: Target Unit
Affects: Allied and Enemy Heroes
Damage: Magical

Passive: Sidonis gains 4 orbiting wings that buff/debuff whatever ally/enemy it is currently attached to, respectively, with +/- magic resistance per wing for a lengthy duration.

Active: Sidonis fires a Wing at a target ally or enemy, slowing it by 60% for 0.2s and dealing damage if it is an enemy, while transferring a Wing stack to it. Any target can only have a maximum of 4 Wings attached to it, Sidonis included.
Wings decay after being attached to a target for 8s, but all wings can be refreshed when a new one is added.

Cast Range: 600
Magic Resist Modifier: 5/7.5/10/12.5%
Damage: 40/60/80/100
Duration: 8
Wing Charge Refresh Time: 24/20/16/12

Cooldown: 4
MP Cost: 45/55/65/75
Wing Cost: 1

Obsidian - a powerful magical conduit, can both encase protective enchantments and wear away at inferior variants of the same spells.

Developer Notes:
With maximum stacks of Wings, Sidonis will have 32/40.5/49/57.5% Magic Resistance.
On the other hand, enemies can receive a Magic Resistance of 10/2.5/-5/-12.5% with maximum stacks placed on them, assuming base Magic Resistance.
With the low cooldown on Obsidian Wings, Sidonis can act as a heavy amplifier of magic damage for a weighty duration, effectively locking out a single target for nukers to make short work of.

Substitute (W)

Ability: Target Unit
Affects: Allied Heroes
Damage: Magical

Sidonis links herself to a target ally, absorbing the next instance of damage, and all spell effects of the intended spell for the ally while linked if the spell is single-target. Regardless of the damage type of the original spell, Sidonis will only take Magical damage while the spell is active.

If Sidonis has a stack of Obsidian Wings while the spell is consumed, the ally is healed by a small amount. If the ally has a stack of Wings, the heal is also triggered on itself another time.
Both parties' Wing stacks will be consumed.

Cast Range: 700
Heal on Ally: 40/65/90/115
Duration: 1.5/2/2.5/3

Cooldown: 60/58/56/54
MP Cost: 160

As a last resort, Sidonis envelops a target ally in her own arcane essences, as she veils it from otherworldly harm.

Developer Notes:
Sidonis will be pulled to 200 range of the target ally, and given the short window of the spell, requires good timing to execute. Regardless, it has excellent utility in blocking off vital spells, including more unpleasant ones such as Nether Swap and Meat Hook. Used correctly, it can be a lifesaver. This justifies the hefty cooldown on the spell.

With a Linken's Sphere, Sidonis' presence on the battlefield becomes far more annoying as she can not only veil an ally from a potent single-target ultimate, but negate it entirely using the Sphere's Spellblock mechanic.

Wall of Distortion (E)

Ability: No Target
Affects: Enemy Units
Damage: n/a

Sidonis forms a small kinetic barrier within 400 AOE of herself in a semicircular arc, using Wing Charges to slow all incoming projectiles by a fixed speed, based on the number of Wings she has remaining. Heroes entering are also slowed by a small amount, which also consumes a Wing stack. A single Hero can only be slowed once per Wall of Distortion.
If she has no Wing charges, the projectiles are not slowed at all.

Area of Effect: 400
Projectile Slow (4 Wings): 30/40/55/75
Projectile Slow (3 Wings): 20/30/40/55
Projectile Slow (2 Wings): 10/20/30/40
Projectile Slow (1 Wing): 5/10/20/30
Hero Slow: 16/24/32/40
Hero Slow Duration: 2
Wall Duration: 5

Cooldown: 30
MP Cost: 100/120/140/160

A droplet of their master's blood is all the Flock needs as a call for help - a sign that their own Flock is injured.

Developer Notes:
This spell makes interception with Sidonis' Substitute ability far easier, especially for skillshots such as Meat Hook or Sacred Arrow. However, regular attacks can just as easily burn through this shield, especially with spells such as Windranger's Focus Fire.

Singularity (R)

Ability: No Target
Affects: Enemy Units
Damage: Magical

Sidonis begins to emit a powerful aura of energy, absorbing all the damage dealt to allies in a large 800 AOE for a short duration.
If Sidonis dies during the period of the spell, she instantly transfers 4 stacks of Obsidian Wings to allies in a 800 AOE and heals them, whereas enemies will receive the same number of stacks and take minor magic damage.

Aghanim's Scepter causes Sidonis to increase the duration of the absorbed damage from 3.5 to 4.5s.

Duration: 2.5/3/3.5 (4.5)
Heal/Damage: 175/275/375

Cooldown: 160/140/120
MP Cost: 200/300/400

The ancients that created the being that is Sidonis forged her from a spirit of resolute will and dedication, and her sacrifice brings about a powerful reckoning from the very forces that gave her form.

Developer Notes:
A crucial teamfight ultimate in keeping all allies alive for a lengthy period of time; essentially a mass damage transfer. The difference being that, if Sidonis does die, her utility is amplified onto all target allies, making them as tanky against magical prowess as she is.

It should also be noted that this spell will block Reaper's Scythe.

As usual, could use some comments on how to improve on some spells. Thanks!
Nice mask, they said.

...
What mask?

Dota 2 is so fun because the heroes have very few similarity in terms of gameplay as if we are playing a different entity of game when we play a different hero. And hey this hero is sooo potent. I made a suicidal hero like Techies, making the self-explode as Ultimate, while the other skills support the ulti. And this hero, as a fellow suicidal hero as mine, is a way more elegant. The way she shreds her opponent is actually by absorbing damage from her allies and ultimately support them and cripple enemies upon dying.

To sum it up, I just want to say that Q, R, and their combo is SICK (Though I find it odd that ally would also receive damage and slow from Q). My complaint is the cooldown of wing charge and ulti seems too long. Abaddon with Agha is pretty useful and similar, yet he has only about 50s cooldown.

Wall of Distortion is decent if only half of dota heroes have skills like meat hook or sacred arrow. I guess you should replace it with something more beneficial for her ulti, like more hp when she has more wings.

Potent hero, need some tweaks though..
