Sheep is better than stacking survivability. Heart and shiva OR AC is more than enough, at that point you should be building utility or damage, whichever your team needs more (utility in this game).

I do not agree with this, as centaur your aim is basically to initiate with pro Hoof Stomp's and Stampede, then you basically stand around and try an soak up damage so your dps carry can beat the **** out of them. Having said that in a game like this I think I might have gone for a Radiance or something instead of shiva.
Do as I say, not what I do

What happens when enemies realize you're completely toothless after your combo and just pretend you aren't there? Because they will if they're any good.

Quoted:
It's already been said, but pipe wasn't necessary. I'm not sure blademail would be all that good though, unless the Sky was targeting you (while he should be targeting the no-bkb troll).

I wasn't really thinking when I upgraded to the Pipe of Insight, I had just bought the Hood of Defiance then upgraded straight away as I already had the cash. I see now that Blade Mail would have been good this game as I was being targeted by Skywrath Mage most of the time.

That was pretty much what I was trying to do hence the tank build. iniatie with Hoof Stomp and Stampede then tank and wait till CD were off.

You can, but that's beside the point. My original point was that having a blink-hex is far more beneficial than bumping your tankiness from "ridiculous" to "even more ridiculous."

The auras will fall off as well, the AS/armor reduction from Shiva/AC means a lot less against heroes with ~250 AS/25 armor lategame than it does against ~175 AS/10 armor midgame. Sheep stays relevent forever.

True, Assault Cuirass is a nice Mid-Game Item for it's bonuses, but a Vladmir's Offering is cheaper and scales into the Late Game. If you're just looking to Tank your Team up, Vladmir's Offering does pretty much the same for less and offers more later on. 8{)

Speaking of Mid-Game Items, that reminds me, if no one else on your Team is building a Mekansm, you should consider getting a Late 20:00 minute on Centaur. It's not ideal, but if you can Farm it by 20:00, it's better than no Mek imo.

I have actually done this on a somewhat unrelated note, I just went ahead and bought every aura I could find on centaur, walking around with Radiance Drum of Endurance Pipe of Insight vladmirs offering Assault Cuirass Arcane Boots. And in addition to all that another guy had a mech, I'm pretty sure that is every item aura that there is with the exception of shivas guard

it was a really funny game as my team got slaughtered whenever they where not near me and when we fought around me we slaughtered them
