Do you guys think that in late game assuming both are equally farmed, that Invoker can own meeps?

Late game? Sure why not, it'll depend on how hard Invoker can kite the Meepos cuz once he's caught with Forcestaff and eul's on cooldown, there's a good chance he's dead.

No.
It shouldn't be able cuz Meepo gets really strong in the late game so the meepos won't be so vulnerable. I mean yeah it is possible to kill him but if it comes to invo vs geomancer it is obviously the geo.

I honestly think the opposite of what everyone here said...

In the late game, an Invoker is likely to have a Force Staff, Aghanims Scepter, Eul's Scepter of Divinity, and a Refresher Orb

This gives an insane amount of aoe nuking power, plus a **** ton of disarm time from two Deafening Blast's.

Adding on to that, a 25 Invoker with Phase Boots would easily be able to outrun and kite Meepo, with the addition of Ghost Walk (which has a 0% self slow at max level) could slow down Meepo enough for him to get away

Furthermore, Meepo is pretty squishy, so two well executed spell combos from Invoker could easily take down a Meepo

Its most likely decided by who makes the first move. I'd lean more towards Meepo because he has stat items with a bunch of psuedo illusions while invoker has utility items which rules out single target utility like Scythe or Euls (unless self-targetting), not to mention the ability to rotate his clones out and the higher MR rate. To fight against Meepo, Invoker has to build specifically against him, and even then it might not be enough. Whereas a Meepo could take on Invoker with his standard build.

Even if you Geobind an Invoker it's pretty easy to dodge Poof spam, which is Meepo's main source of Damage, using Eul's Scepter of Divinity or Force Staff. On the other hand, Meepo, Meepo, Meepo, Meepo and Meepo are going to have a hard time kiting Invoker's damage, and as Zoidberg said, Invoker has more lockdown, especially Late Game when Meepo starts to fall off.

Equal farm is a hard scenario to create. If they both have all of the lategame items they want, then Invoker would stand no chance, because E-blade and blink dagger. Not to mention heart.

i think it would be meepo late game because against a heart+aghs meepo you can only lock him down for a bit but not do TOO much dmg and after all that meepo nets poofs and your dead cause invoker doesnt make heart or anything
i rush mask of madness and basher on puck :3
