Poll Question:

URSA VS LS
URSA
Lifestealer

I'm going to have to argue that LS could build straight attack speed with a heart and do just fine against Ursa. I'm not 100% sure, but I would assume that due to Ls having that nice heal he would be able to tank out the 6 hit burst and the additional damage from his stacking ability. This is simply a guess. I also might throw out that ursa could just build straight damage and no hp and be able to kill Naix. Naix with little life steal=dead Naix.

Even with HP, after his Overpower (not accounting items) Ursa's attacks will be doing 180 additional attack damage. Throw in his ulti and then what, another 150 attack damage PER hit. At 25 Ursa has around 2200 HP not including items, so LS would be basically only negating Ursa's ultimate in damage, and that's only for the first hit. He'll only start healing for less after that. So just off the bat with Ursa's ulti up, he will be doing more damage than Lifestealer can heal for.

I'm agreeing with you lol. If Ursa has low hp he will win. If he builds a heart or something he may not though. The life steal from naix when he has huge attack speed in unreal.

Reserved for /thread (Video is Uploading now.)

"So, in order to /thread I went and decked out each of the heroes in items that are used commonly for each of the heroes. This means they would man-fight not in items like 5 hearts + boots but items that you would see at the end of a 50min-1hr match. Fully Farmed, Fully Leveled and your normal build.

As you can see Lifestealer takes the cake hands down."

Item Justification:
Blade Mail: With relatively high hp and going up against a phys dps Carry in most games Blade Mail is a good pick especially in 1v1 Situations.
Abyssal Blade: Obviously picked up from Skull Basher with an on call stun, chance to stun and high damage. Good pick because of Ursa's high attack speed = more stun.
Vladmir's Offering: Core on Ursa, gives him everything he needs and allows lifesteal as he is unable to pickup any more orbs.
Sange and Yasha: Could have picked something else (Halberd and MKB come to mind) however you will see SnY on Ursa very often for its Strength, Maim and Movement Speed.
Power Treads: Best boots for Ursa hands down.
Heart of Tarrasque: Extra HP = More damage and high hp pool. I am aware this gives Lifestealer more Lifesteal but before you QQ be aware that this is a highly acquired item on Ursa because it is good for him.

Item Justification:
Abyssal Blade: Same justification as above, high attack speed + stun = more stun and AB just gives more damage.
Mjollnir: Standard item on Lifestealer, great for attack speed and damage. The on use is amazing as well.
Heart of Tarrasque: Strength on a Strength hero + passive regen and high HP. Obvious pick in the lategame.
Heaven's Halberd: Again, *before you QQ this is a great item vs physical carries and commonly picked up given you have farmed your luxury items. Also gives Strength so it is awesome on Lifestealer.
Assault Cuirass: Attackspeed, Armor and -Armor Debuff. What more can you ask for on Lifestealer?
Power Treads: Boots of choice on Lifestealer.

*If there is too much QQ about the use of Halberd I will remake with both having it but really that wasn't the issue. Lifestealer heals WAY more than Ursa no matter what.

If you're talking about having both of them put against each other in an arena? Ursa will beat the living **** out of Lifestealer, easily too.

Item wise you have a bias towards Lifestealer. We already established that getting a heart would result in LS winning, and getting Blademail against a hero with a free BKB is kind of useless when it's 1v1. You also gave LS evasion while giving Ursa Sange and Yasha, one of the worst items in the game.

Yeah replace SnY with a butter or halberd+manta.

As I stated in justifications I am aware this gives Lifestealer more Lifesteal but before you QQ be aware that this is a highly acquired item on Ursa because it is good for him because of the Damage (297.5 when he has 4250hp so just shy of a Divine Rapier) he gains from Health (Heart being the highest health giving item in the game.) Giving him a pure damage item in place of this would simply have him die faster..

With regards to Blade Mail after going through dota2wiki I can see that it blocks it. Being pure damage I assumed it went through however will do a rematch without it.

I also stated (it seems you didn't read much but chose to look at pretty pictures and make your call) that in hindsight I could have chosen different items however we are trying to replicate items that are commonly picked up in live games not set them up solely for a 1v1 war hence the choice.

Once again Lifestealer takes it home 3/0 in his favor though the fights were a little more exciting still one sided though. This time swapping the Blade Mail for the suggested Manta Style from xCO2 and Sange and Yasha was replaced with Heaven's Halberd so as not to appear biased. Lifestealer maintained the same kit as previously.
