Phase, optional precore, agh's, blink (if not already picked up), optional BKB, damage + 1 stat item.

Precore: maelstrom/blink
Damage: Daedalus, MKB etc
Stat: Linkens, Scythe, etc

I have a friend who always builds Desolator in Windranger, I don't know if that's a good pick up since I don't play Windranger but he tells me that it's really good in her. I saw him once build a Satanic instead, so he may be kinda crazy.

Damage options

Pushing: deso

Maximum Dps: slasher's way, aghs into crit.

Aoe/farming: maelstorm/mjolnir

Utility

Blink/SB for mobility

Skadi if you went crit/lightning

Lifesteal is always nice

AC can be useful if you go full push

Personally I always try to get and Aghanim's Scepter first, but there's times where I'm losing a game and it's just gonna take too long before I can get my Aghs up, there's basically 4 items you can buy before aghs which I think should be purchased basically if you are struggling to farm aghs in 20~ minutes as they will help you snowball better into your aghs, which are as follows: Maelstrom, Crystalys, Javelin, Blink Dagger. You might think the Javelin is kinda redundant but it's super cheap and for single target damage the proc effect is only about 30 damage less than Maelstrom (after reductions.). It's really cheap and if you just can't buy anything Javelin is the best item since only proc effects matter until you have your aghs, raw damage does very little for you. It also builds into an MKB later, which is nice. Maelstrom for pushing / high armour enemies, Crystalys for better single target burst damage but only effective against low armour enemies. Blink Dagger you probably want to get after one of these items, but if you get it first it helps to gank around the map a lot better, but since you don't have any damage items, going blink first limits your ability to kill people on your own a bit.

My build I use right now is Phase Boots > Aghanim's Scepter > Blink Dagger > Daedalus/ Monkey King Bar > Black King Bar > MKB/ Eye of Skadi/ Shiva's Guard/ Satanic (all situational items for 6th slot)

I personally am not a huge fan of Desolator, but if you like the item you want to buy it straight after your Aghs, since before aghs it doesn't do enough and too late after it's also kinda meh, the earlier the better. I also wouldn't recommend upgrading to Mjollnir (unless you're 6 slotted with upgraded boots of travel) because what you get for the money just isn't worth it, attack speed is useless and you only get 30 extra damage on your lightning procs, and the static charge active doesn't do much since you don't really want to get attacked by people. Maelstrom is good, Mjollnir is not worth it imo.

Basically, you almost always want Blink Dagger and Aghanim's Scepter, the rest of the items you buy are situational, so basically, buy whatever you want and see what works best for you. The best advice I can give you is just experiment with items, I've gone through loads of builds for Windranger in the past.

Hopefully this helped!

Mjollnir is actually worse than Maelstrom on WR.

Because you don't need the attackspeed, the proc chance is actually lower on Mjoll than Maelstrom.

So if you ever get a maelstrom, don't upgrade it.

Vlad's is also a ridiculously strong item if you need a small value pickup when you're playing from behind.

Blink Difussal Medalion is my go to build, after i buy aghs, scythe and skadi

It works wonders for me, the difussal give me slowlock on the enemy when he try to run of my focus fire, Medalion seems like the perfect item on her as she focus down One Target and the item is to focus one target

Other itens people should discuss is Dragon Lance, it seems nice on her, just the quarterstaff component is wasted
