Windranger is pretty strong right now, and that's okay, her ult is insanely good, she's pretty nimble, has a nice scouting nuke, but Shackle man. That skill needs to stop.

It just needs to stop latching on to everythinnnnggggggg. Like if you can be standing in the middle of the lane and get a 4.5 year-long stun on you that's a little much to me. Standing a good black holes distance away from your teammate? too bad, now you're both done. I dont even remember shackle getting changed in the last few patches it just seems like it is suddenly way more flexible in what it chooses to grab onto.

I like the hero but I just feel it should be a littttle harder to get that insanely long stun.
I got to Notable, Thanks!

i read somewhere it works like psi blades where the point of cast is not the direction it derives its latch direction from but the place of the caster when connected not cast.

so basically she can fire it at you from point A then move to point B and the direction in which the latch will be derived from is point B. it operates on the old pudge hook mechanics apparently.

I WILL DESTROY YOU ALL.... WITH FLUFFY BUNNIES

I thought Shackleshot latches in a set angle depending on where you are when you throw it instead of where you are when it shackles.

Anyway yeah, it's an annoying skill, but it's equally as annoying to the person using it, I can't tell you how many times a shackle should've shackled, but it didn't.

I think Shackleshot is okay, it got changed about a year ago if I remember correctly, it used to be even stronger, now it's just fine.

You can counter it by positioning yourself better, also, if you communicate well or have a good enough game sense I bet you won't get latched to your teammates. (at least not that often)

Let's not forget about the obvious counters such as Black King Bar and Linken's Sphere, they're efficient enough.

C'mon guys. Lion's Hex lasts longer, is 100% reliable, and not only can't be disjointed but doesn't even have a projectile.

Just don't stand between WR and a tree. If you're soloing mid against WR and you get shackled to a tree you really deserved it :)

And in the sidelanes? Who plays sidelane WR outside of solo offlane...and a solo offlane WR has literally zero solo kill potential.

The only real danger is getting shackled to a teammate. But then it seems people don't even buy Blink Dagger on WR anymore, since slahser's way and stuff people think she's a hard carry (lol), rush aghs, and don't even play her as an initiator anymore. A WR without mobility can't shackle you to a teammate unless again you severely misplayed. As Singsing says, "it's always the guy in the back's fault" xD

Not only this, but WR is hard countered by like 80% of the meta heroes right now : weak to magic damage and weak to disables...terrible in this patch where there's a Lesh/Zeus/Lion/ES/Wyvern/Qop/Storm in literally every game. That's why she gets buffed.

It latches based on the cast location not her current location. This means if you Force Staff or Blink away after cast, it will latch based on the cast location.

I think what needs to be fixed is shackle being undisjointable. It really shouldn't be this way.

Yeah, Shackleshot is only a god tier stun when you can consistently land two hero ones, which is harder than it sounds. Well, harder till you buy mobility like a good windrunner.

I suppose the only thing to do is either make it disjointable, or to slightly lower the angle it latches between. But I don't think it's needed, the hero is in a nice place right now.

Since you just can't have enough Chaos Breaker.

You could fix it by making it search for trees first, and then heroes.
