That moment when you knew you were going to play Dota for a long time.

probably 100 games into playing dota i was Playing support silencer big teamfight everyone on my team was dead, 4 of the enemy was alive i was on half hp and they were on half hp and i was being chased near the dire rosh area i took a stun and was on maybe 20-50 hp i went high ground near ancients then juked to low ground then as a nyx was about to stun i force staffed over the wall into rosh and tp'd out. a friend watching message me like "WOWOWOWOW the plays" i felt a huge rush of exhilaration and thought.... that was AWESOME. now those kind of plays are second nature but it was at that moment that i knew i wanted to play this game for a long time.

share your moments ladies and gents.

I WILL DESTROY YOU ALL.... WITH FLUFFY BUNNIES

When I got flamed for saying I enjoyed the tryhard match

When Wraith King and Juggernaut runs away when I land a good Fiend's Grip on PA

When Sand King doesn't build Blink Dagger and build Shadow Blade instead

In the end the thing that has always drawn me back to playing Dota is the people that I have met and have had the privelage of playing with and against.

Flashback about a year and a half and I played my first game of Omniknight. It was a horrible experience. I was repelling the opposite team, missing purification, screwing up my ultimate just mass chaos. My team was flaming me for the reasons above, but one thing really caught me off guard.

One of the players for the opposite team typed in all chat "first game of Omni?" I said yeah. And what came next surprised me. He walked me through omni and how to use his abilities effectively. He could've flamed me outright for my horrible plays but instead he helped me out.

From there on in I knew that I wanted to be that kind of player. Someone who walks new players through the ropes rather than just throwing them to the dogs. Someone who teaches rather than ridicules. Because it's those types of players that keep me playing the game so it is only fitting for me to treat other players the same way.

It's at those moments when I know I want to play dota for a very long time.

I've had a couple of those moments recently;

The first was this; http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1615259142 a while back as a support ES and the game started really poorly, Tinker got like 8 kills, and started getting really really big and snowballing hugely, and I'm thinking; Well **** the games over, they have clearly stronger late-game than us. And then AM gets a solo-kill on Tinker. And we start winning fights, and pushing, and getting some objectives. And then our AM DC's, and my team0mates tell me he won't be coming back.... But we still keep winning fights, and holding, and gradually pushing. And one running fight happens at our base, I get a decent Echo Slam, and Tinker starts running, and I start chasing, and he blinks into Fog. And knowing he's TP'ing out, I blink blindly and fissure, and I get the kill. And the Tinker has to buyback, and then he gets killed in the fight in there base, and if he has buyback after that death, he could force us back.

It was an intense game, and the fact I made the pretty easy play (Like I don't think it was clutch by anymeans, it was just fun to pull of something like that)

The second game was earlier this week as a Dark Seer, http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1647986004;

And it was pretty similar, they were getting massively ahead, had all the tempo in the world, and are pushing for tier 3 bot. And then I surge, and run in, and get a 5 man Vacuum Wall into Ag's Death Ward and wipe, and get all of the momentum in our favour. And whilst it wasn't that big of a play, because they were asking for it, but it was satisfying to see the game shift because of my play.

Yeah, just basically the plays where I get the deliver hard and the plays that remind me why I love this game

Since you just can't have enough Chaos Breaker.

I was playin TB with smuggs.
As they tried to kill our T4 I came in demon form then started imba micro-ing
Smuggs: The micro is strong with this one. I just saw him change into demon form and reflect the enemy hero and all his illusions started attacking with no delay.

Me: Pls. u meak me look too good.

Smuggs: I am so gonna scream on dota fire that KCAF carried us to victory.
*then he starts singing about me*

It was that day when i realized that i was gonna stick with dota. And with that, Dotafire.

Praise Earned:1
Broken hearts: None.

KCAF, I have GOT to have a TB-off against you. 1v1me lobby, 30 minutes, can't go past T3s, crepe farming only, after 30 minutes, highest GPM wins.
There are two kinds of people in the world; those who can count, and those who can't.

tera-man, your control and my control are very similar. There is not point because we both would get around 95% cs.
I have seen your games. and you might have seen mine. But sometimes I use only one hand for fun. I tell the teams that I am fapping with the other XD.

EDIT: we can scrim anyways. Hehe.
EDIT2: I will buy SnY on TB just to make you throw up. LOL
