Just wanted to start this thread to see the communities differing opinions!
Also, if you want to provide information to other's comments possibly helping them overcome their least favorite heroes then that would be excellent!

I'll start off with saying Storm Breaker. I hate Bash's global presence which is extremely effective against my favorite hero - Slark. He can set up easy early ganks and always seems to be a nuisance to face.

I can't wait to hear others opinions!

I hate playing Omniknight. He's just a pain and makes me buy a Diffusal Blade.

I hate playing against rats in general, but most honourable mention goes to Lycan.

I have a handful of heroes I abhor facing in direct combat, most are heroes with strong snowball potential that do not fall off at all.

The hero I hate the most is Silencer, because laning is gonna be hell pretty much no matter what (except that one time I ran into the solo-offlane Silencer who fed incessantly).
Seriously, I hate this guy's damage output right in lane, his int steal which makes low int casters worthless if there are a few deaths, his utterly broken stat gain which is higher than every other hero, and his absence of mana issues due to his massive starting int and the fact that Glaives only costs 15 mana when Impetus is 60 and OD's is 100.
The almost-unbeatable late game double silence is just a little part of it. My only counterpick that works against him is Nyx Assassin, who

Omniknight as well, except I have a good counterpick against him in the form of Rubick and anyone who can smash the laning phase. But yeah, if he gains a little bit of momentum, the game becomes the definition of hell, with permantly magic immune carries and healing bombs that create a 720 hp difference, and then an ult that is impossible to fight against. Almost as bad as Silencer.

Spectre is also a nuisance, since once she gets like ~8000 net worth and she's not getting own, it becomes impossible to teamfight her due to her massive AOE damage and global jumping skills, and no hero can deal with it except Siren, who is unusable in solo-que. She is very weak in lane, so if I see a spectre pick, I tend to pick up a Necrophos and make her life a disaster.

Techies, just because he makes the game really boring. Neither team can push or even rat because of all the mines. I actually win against him quite a bit more than the other 2, but he saps the fun out of the game.

And from Dota 1: Arc Warden, an extraordinarily broken hero that can get a free 300 bonus gpm from double hands of midas, as well as double necrobooks, double mantas, and a divine on his double that never ever drops. Also, he is impossible to win 1v1 laning against unless you can summon a bunch of units to tank his ******** wraiths and remove his flux. If you think Windrun, smoke screen, or drunken brawler is bad, he also can give himself and his allies 100% evasion and bonus attack speed when pushing your towers. 6.78 Earth Spirit, 6.79 Terrorblade, 6.83a Jugg, 6.83c Troll and 6.84 Gyrocopter have nothing on this hero in terms of overpoweredness.

For Silencer, the best counter is any form of purge. Heroes like Slark could be useful against him, although you need to predict ahead of time with godly powers to time it correctly. However, the best counter is simply a Diffusal Blade or a Manta Style.

I always hate seeing Omniknight too, because even though his counter is fairly obvious, so little people actually put it to use. Furthermore, players in my tier of playing love to get a lot of right click carries in all pick, so one Omniknight pick can easily screw up the whole team. The only consolation i have is that even the Omniknight players can easily screw up their play.

Spectre can be beaten even after getting her cores, its just that very few heroes can do it. I have had success getting a farmed spectre killed using an equally farmed Sven, Troll Warlord, Chaos Knight and Phantom Assassin. In theory, though i have never tried this(mainly because i don't play these heroes much), Windranger and Faceless Void could kill Spectre on their own as well. Sniper also works since Dispersion has less effect the further you are from Spectre. However, if you fight him in the middle of all your creeps, you will have a much more difficult time killing him.

Earthshaker. Such a good hero, it pubs too if you know what you are doing, since players dont know what the hell spreadibg out it. One day i got so pissed off, that i decided to pick him, had so much fun and now he's my go to support.

Ancient Apparition. Just a ****ing annoying ult, i also cant play heroes like that at all. NO STUN? NO (solo) GANKING POWER? WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THEN? D= AN ULT THAT YOU HAVE TO AIM??!!!??!! AGGGGGAHSHGSGETJJDHHXH

Also a good ommni is annoying, but that is pretty rare.

Techies - I don't struggle against them, they're just so, so boring.

Templar Assassin - Refraction BS. Yes, yes, you can deal with it, Orb of Venom blah blah blah, it's still a BS power in a lot of situations.

Naga Siren - the arch rat queen. If they know what they're doing, and you don't win early; incredibly hard and frustrating to play against.

And Timm...AA has a stun :)

Windrunner, because Shackleshot's op

Top kekkies, because they're the least fun thing in dota

Storm Spirit, because they're always obnoxious

That about covers it... I don't hate many heroes.
There are two kinds of people in the world; those who can count, and those who can't.

Easily Broodmother. I can understand picking her in ranked, but in unranked Broodmother pick vs me is an insta-report.
