3 Illusions that last 30 seconds, every 40 seconds, can't Split-Push or Farm hard with those, huh? 8{3

Seriously though, Spectre can 1 vs 1 anything (aside from maybe Faceless Void or Terrorblade...depends on Sunder + Dispersion interactions) Late-Game. But she can't stop a Naga Siren from Ratting her Team to death. Even if she uses Haunt, Song of the Siren gives enough time to TP out.

And as the cd in song is so short, you have it up basically whenever you need it.

Faceless Void can solo kill whoever he wants to lategame. Timewalk-Chrono is a guaranteed kill. Battlefury/Mjolnr hero>Naga

Naga was only unstoppable in that game because C9 didn't bother to pick a naga counter. They had two picks after the naga, taking Puck/Meepo, neither of whom are much good at stopping a fat Naga spamming illusions

Lion, for example, gives very strong early ganking (which they didn't have), and later he's able to kill illusions on a 5 second CD. Could have easily fit the lineup at that point if they run Doom offlane instead of support.

Ember has a 6 second CD wave-clearing spell, probably the best in the game at stopping pushes.

@ OP's point, she's very strong but it's impossible to judge since she works so much differently than other hard carries. Personally I'd still take the medusa after 60 minutes.

Radiance + Manta Style + Heart of Tarrasque on Naga Siren > Mjollnir + Battle Fury on Faceless Void.

True a 5k advantage may be a little too much, but if Void goes Battle fury, he's only going to get it a couple of minutes before Maga gets her Radiance.

Battle Fury allows Void to Farm 1 Camp at a time and he can move between camps a little faster than Naga can.

Radiance + Mirror Image allows Naga to Farm 3 Camps at a time as well as a Lane or a 4th Camp. She'll get her Heart of Tarrasque long before Void gets his Mjollnir, and she'll probably have a Yasha/ Ultimate Orb by that time as well. It's not hard to see a Naga being far ahead of a Void 20 minutes in.

It's sort of hard to say there's one "best" carry in a game where there are no "best" heroes. Everyone has a counter, and is a counter to something else, so it's all about the situation.

In terms of 1v1 power, Naga is by no means the strongest carry. Spectre and Void, and probably Anti-Mage, are all much better at manfighting than you and will nearly always beat you in a straight fight.

However, Naga excels in that she can set up the set up, if you will. Have her go in and put everyone to sleep, then have your Enigma or Tidehunter, etc, use their ult while you wreak havoc on them. She's very teamfight oriented, not a one man army like most carries.

With the right crowd control on your team, it's hard to beat a fed Naga.

It was only a mere math count, nothing about the void/naga clash.
Btw i think you hit the spot, the problem it's not how fat a carry can get, but how fast and how difficult is to stop him while he do so (sry for english!XD)

The problem with naga it's not how you manfight her 1vs1, the problem is that a smart player will never give you the chance to do it, so it's quite useless to have a 6 slotted void if you spend half of your time travelling aound the map!

If you add to naa a couple of heroes with great escape/intiation potential like Storm spirit/bat rider (damned alliiance) it's really hard to set up anything if you don't do it fast (b4 30 minuts at least),

I think the answer to that is early aggression and/or a good way to clean creepwaves, so that you make splitpushing way less effective, not tryng to outcarry her and hope for a good teamfight. (i mean na'vi did manage to kill her once and she had 10k gold waitnig for buyback......)

Holy ****! It's funny how this thread has derailed from "Naga is the best late game hero" to "Who is the best 1v1 late game hard carry"?

For those people that are claiming Spectre, Faceless Void, etc can beat Naga Siren in a 1v1 fight, yes, you are absolutely right. However that isn't what this thread is about, because you will never get that 1v1 fight when you are against a late game Naga Siren.

Where late game Naga Siren excels is in her split push with Radiance illusions, cutting creep waves, making it nearly impossible for the enemy team to 5 man down a lane (since they'd be fighting backdoor protection), and ratting her way to victory.

Now, there are other heroes that are pretty darn good at split pushing, like a Nature's Prophet or Anti-Mage or Phantom Lancer, however, I think Naga Siren's Song of the Siren makes her scary late game. With other split pushers, they have a fairly linear skill set that allows them to split push and join teamfights when necessary, but you can also shut them down if you smoke gank them. However, with Song of the Siren, it is nearly impossible to catch a Naga Siren out, and by the time you do, 3 or 4 illusions will be busy knocking down your tier 3s.

On topic, I agree with Timminator in that late game Naga Siren is extremely scary in the current meta, unless the enemy specifically counter picks her.. Heroes that can cleave down waves quickly might be a decent counter too; it reminds me of a game where a late game Sven beat a KotL-PL combo simply because one swing from Sven cleared the illusion army from PL.
