Intro

Hey Guys, This is my first guide on Faceless Void. So please be free to give any kind of feedback.

LORE:
"Darkterror the Faceless Void is a visitor from Claszureme, a realm outside of time. It remains a mystery why this being from another dimension believes the struggle for the Nemesis Stones is worth entering our physical plane, but apparently an upset in the balance of power in this world has repercussions in adjacent dimensions. Time means nothing to Darkterror, except as a way to thwart his foes and aid his allies. His long-view of the cosmos has given him a remote, disconnected quality, although in battle he is quite capable of making it personal."

Void is a traditional hard carry, with a nice skill set, which includes an inbuilt Skull Basher, Butterfly, and both of Phantom Assassin's active skills in a single ability, and finally, the famous Chronosphere, where the reign is yours and yours only, no one can take it from you.

Pros / Cons

Pros
  • High initial strength and agility stats
  • Inbuilt basher, butterfly, and semi-force staff
  • Backtrack is not evasion.
  • Scales well with items
  • Nice escape.
Cons
  • Low Strength and intelligence stat gains
  • Squishy till late game
  • Mana-starved for chrono till perseverance.

Skills

This is a skill that lets you initiate and escape, and also lets you catch up with fleeing heroes. We don't skill this fast because we only use this skill in early game as an escape mechanism.

Max Travel Distance: 700/900/1100/1300
Slow Radius: 300
Move Speed Slow: 20%/30%/40%/50%
Slow Duration: 3
Cooldown: 19/17/15/13
Mana Cost: 90

Backtrack
An awesome skill that gives you a chance to evade damage from any type of attack. Beware, it only evades damage and not the secondary effects of them. Skill this ability first if you are being harassed a lot.

Proc Chance: 10%/15%/20%/25%

Another awesome skill that lets you bash your way through to victory and, of course, your enemy's rage. Skill this fast if you want to play aggressive.

Proc Chance: 10%/15%/20%/25%
Damage: 40/50/60/70
Hero Duration: 1
Non-Hero Duration: 2

AN AoE disable, for which most of you chose this hero, and probably you should. It givs you the time to bash on anyone without a great fear of getting hurt yourself. A skill you have to use with utter precision, such that you and enemy team inside, but leave your teammates outside.

Radius: 425
Duration: 4/4.5/5
Cooldown: 130/115/100
Mana Cost: 150/225/300

Items and Gameplay

Early Game

Start with a set of Tango, Quelling Blade, and a Stout Shield.
Within the first 15 minutes, Try to get to Battlefury, Power Treads, and a Morbid Mask.
If possible, try a Hand of Midas, and the Morbid Mask can be delayed.
All you need to do for the time being is to farm and farm only.

Mid Game

You can start to pick on lane fights with your support when your ult is off cooldown, and try to participate passively in teamfights, ie., only fight if you can be 80% sure you can win that one, and try to get many kills.
Progress to Helm of the Dominator, Butterfly, and a possible Assault Cuirass.
A Black King Bar can be bought if you are being dominated in your ult.
A Butterfly is a core item for void, as it gives you extra agiity, attack damage, and armor, with some added evasion. This item turns you into a nightmare for your enemies.

Late Game

This is your time. You can happily roam around map with one or two allies, and can dominate wherever you go.
Try to complete, Monkey King Bar before Satanic for extra damage output. You can also Try for a Divine Rapier, if you think you are owning the game. But be careful, as the enemy team will definitely try for you first.

Summary

All in All, Void is a Fun character to play with, and a you can own the game like a BOSS!!!
Thank You.
