Quelling Blade

Active: Chop Tree/Ward - Destroys a target tree or ward. Chop cast range is increased when targeting wards.

Cast Range: 350

Passive: Quell - Gives bonus attack damage against non-hero units, based on whether the equipped hero is ranged or melee.

Attack Damage Bonus (melee): +24
Attack Damage Bonus (ranged): +7

The axe of a fallen gnome, it allows you to effectively maneuver the forest.

Additional Information

The bonus damage is also affected by the illusions' attack damage penalty.

Additional Information:

The bonus damage from multiple Quelling Blades does not stack.

Notes:

  • When the owner's attack type changes to ranged or melee, the attack damage bonus adapts immediately.
  • Quell fully stacks with other attack damage increasing effects. It also fully works with crits.
  • Quell fully works with crits and cleaves. When having cleave, attacking a creep cleaves the increased damage in the area.
  • However, if the unit has Tidebringer, the attack which procs it is not increased by Quell.
  • Elder Dragon Form's splash also splashes the increased damage when attacking a creep.
  • The damage Moon Glaive bounces are not increased. They still deal damage based on her base damage.
  • Psi Blades will spread the increased damage when attacking a creep.
  • Does not work against wards, buildings, Lone Druid's Summon Spirit Bear and allied units.

Since 6.84 it does no longer deals bonus damage to Roshan. Its important for early single rosh i.e. for Troll Warlord.

You cannot carry more than one. They wont stack.
