Excuse me mr Goo, Great overall guide but I can't pull off the combo of Rolling Boulder and Geomagnetic Grip on ally to pull him all the way. What am I doing wrong?

Once you are moving with Rolling Boulder the game suffers on targetting, it is easier to so Boulder Smashing while rolling (as you have seen before probably). You have to be to a medium distance, and cast Geomagnetic Grip during the "rev-up" of Rolling Boulder.

The thing is that Geomagnetic Grip has this really short cast animation, but if you are rolling away, during this small period of time, you break the cast range of Geomagnetic Grip which is not much, so be careful.

If you cast it too close to your ally, they will be pulled up to the rev-up of Rolling Boulder and stop there, and you will roll out alone. And if you cast it too far, well you will break the cast range too. Try to get the feel out for yourself. Hope this helped!

I think to get your Ulti off a blink is the better choice. But, Force Staff is situational. If your team heavily lacks mobility, or you dont see yourself getting the raw cash for a Blink Dagger, a Force Staff is a worthy replacement.

Still, a good guide :) +1

I absolutely love this guide. I already could play earth spirit (although praise the gods for this update), but this is a really well made guide.

An example of an overformatted guide.

Stone's aside(does this work???), it is fine. +1

Blink Dagger as a replacement to Force Staff?

Ill break it down for you (althought this is already explained in the guide). Force Staff is not only stats, it is self cast, this means that with quickcast on, pushing yourself diagonally and doing a Boulder Smash goes much more natural, as you dont move your cursor around quickly.

Also, for escapes, if you are already under attack and surrounded by enemies, Force Staff out of the mosh pit, then Rolling Boulder to get away without hitting someone or somebody getting in the way.
