Echo vs Armlet on Lycan?

Hello guys. My most favourite hero is lycan. Currently my skill build is Vladmir's Offering > Boots of Speed> Necronomicon> Boots of Travel> Black King Bar> Desolator> Assault Cuirass.

However two items that caught my attention were Echo Sabre and Armlet of Mordiggian. Some people do buy these items on Lycan, but I'm not sure which one I should buy. I've tried Echo Sabre against peopleand it IS satisfying, but, is Armlet better? I've only tried Armlet in bot matches and in terms of bots, I'm having more success with Echo Sabre. Or should I not buy them at all? Is the old, standard build better?

P.S. if I do buy one of the two, what would my item progression be like? There's this guy that goes vlad's>treads>echo sabre>necro 3>situational items. Is that legitimate? Thanks in advance.

There's two pools of Lycan builds:

1) Wolves Need No Armour (Hyperpush)
2) On the Hunt (Fighting)

Your build is the pushing build.

Should you switch over to Echo Sabre or Armlet, you should also switch your playstyle.
