Has anyone ever stomped a game where your cores are Medusa mid and Spectre safe and you're against really tough midgame heroes?

I wonder if I can still get away with this when I get to that 4k barrier. 110 mmr to go.

I've recently won a game as Luna with Anti-Mage, Alchemist, Rubick and Dazzle in team against Void, Mirana, Warlock, SF and Lifestealer, with Alchemist being picked first, and AM second into an already taken safelane, and Dazzle attempting to snatch my lasthits in lane and in jungle(literally waited for a moment to steal the camp with Shadow Wave).

Holy **** you have to be rly bad to lose against that. Le upper 3ks and Gaben matchmaking in all their glory.

HOW THE **** DO YOU PUSH HIGHGROUND AGAINST THIS?? You can't split because of lc and Tinker and ww means you can't 5 man, also, WHY does Winter's Curse bypass bkb fully? And why does a horsesh*t hero like exist in the first place?

You don't high ground, or push in any way. You take advantage of the fact that the enemy team has 4 farmers (even 5 if you count Wyvern W spam), so they would compete for farm all game long and have little of it. You play something that can gank and just snowball off kills. SF can do that with a blink-euls or shadowblade build. But then you probably don't even need a euls since Cold Embrace is your free euls...SF destroys Wyvern, just ult on top off the balanced ice prison.

Completely with you on the fact that wyvern pickers are as horrible as void pickers or troll pickers in the previous patches tho. But that game was completely winnable. If you can't kill the towers then go kill the heroes :)

Highground against that would be a matter of controlling map to gain a significant gold advantage, then getting Aegis on SF, just walking up on the highground and hitting tower.

^ Even then. You can't push because you have no creeps. Mystic Snake + March of the Machines + Overwhelming Odds + Splinter Blast = creep wave dead in a second, rinse and repeat.

If all the heroes are dead because you killed them while they were farming and *then* you go push tho...that's an other story :)

C'mon Fedo, Shiva's Guard Morphling is maybe sitting at 50 armor but he's still beatable Kappa.

Holy **** that was intense. I've played pretty badly, plus Mr.Internet decided to take a break from the midgame up to almost the end of the game. Still, I told the guys to shut up with their mutual flaming, we took our balls in our hands and won this one. FeelsGoodMan

No. He had very little impact that game. Kinda expected from a hardlane Alch.
