Maxing Sharpnel first is good choice. I always use it to damage building or slowing the enemy.

I always go for Power Treads- Mask of Madness- Blink Dagger- Mjollnir and then either Monkey King Bar or Eye of Skadi with maybe occasional Assault Cuirass or Black King Bar thrown in.

The biggest downside of this build is you need quite the start to get Mask of Madness and [Blink Dagger]] early enough, and if your start was supbar, you are very vulnerable until you get Blink Dagger. The solution is usually just attending some safe teamfights where the attention would unlikely to be drawn at you, for example tower dives, when people chase some low-hp ally and you can deal serious damage and get some kills.

Works great so far, you just need fast enough fingers. Love Gem of True Sight on him, especially when facing Techies.
