Hey guys!

Been lurking round DotaFire for a while but now there's some threads I wanna contribute to!

About 400 games into Dota mainly as a support and I'm still yet to experiment with builds =P also I'm from U.K. so I seem to be about 5-7 hours in front of most people on this forum.

Anyone link me instructions on inserting ability names, heroes etc. into posts cuz it's pretty sweet =D

Hello, DotA'ers (or whatever you call yourselves)!

I'm a Smite crossover player, which means I played the third-person MOBA Smite before this. I like to try to get a balance between damage and defense, as I have found that I play optimally in those conditions. I'm liking Io for that very reason, and also for the extra "I'm a credit to the team" thought you get when you play him/her/it.

Actually, to tangent in that direction: Which one is Io? Due to the fact that the feeling to help and nurture is more feminine than masculine, as well as the name, I tend to refer to Io as a she. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If there's any heroes that you think would fit me, PM me! I think that establishing some friends is a good way to get me started in this game...

To quote its lore "Io is everywhere, and in all things." Plus the lore refers to it as an "it" so I guess it is both and neither.

Anyway, whats up guys. I am Alucar, from New Zealand.

I have been playing for about 9 months now, mainly with friends but always keen for a que buddy.

I'm the biggest creeper you'll ever meet and the slowest at making guides as my essay writing isn't that great. I prefer to teach people through vocals.

Hey all,
I've been playing DOTA 2 almost a year, and am constantly learning and sometimes improving :). I'm 36, and from the US where I live with my wife and young daughter. I've worked in enterprise software my entire career mostly in QA, now in management. I'm on most nights for a few hours and a member of the Dota Fire guild, so I'm happy to group up.

Hello, I'm Glenn and my unhealthy life revolves around Dota 2. I've been playing for around five months. Not that good at the game yet, unfortunately.

My favorite and strongest hero is the awesome Grand Magus, Rubick. There was a day when I played about 12 games, all of them with Rubick. It was awesome.

I play basically every role. I play carry, mid, support etc. The only role I'm not quite clear of is the offlane role, but I think I'll figure it out soon enough.

Oh yeah, and I'm from Singapore :)

Hello, my name's Bandy and I play a bit too much DotA.

I've been playing for about two months, and though I am decent in pub matches, overall I most likely suck.

My favorite heroes are as follows, in order: Nature's Prophet, Axe, Pudge, Kunkka, Tidehunter, Slardar, and Bane.

I play a variety of roles, and tend to play whatever roll that my team needs.
