Hero Counters

Silencer counters heroes that need to chain skills. Necrolyte counters high hp to an extent. FV counters other hard carries. Nukers and aoe destroy Meepo. Slardar counters BH and Riki.

Counter to teleports, blinks, or any form of long distance travel - Disruptor.

Counter to Bloodseeker - TP scrolls

Rubick is a semi counter to big CC ults, like Ravage.

Be more general. You don't have to list every single Damage over Time there is as TA's counter. Just say DoT.

Dark Seer counters any r-click carry because of wall.

Ursa is counter by CC, Furion is a good choice due to sprout, and if you micro well, trap him in your treants.

Black King bar, linkens, and even a cyclone stick are good counters for lots of things.

Cyclone stick works on most DoT spells/debufs when used on yourself. Was annoying a bloodseeker because he would silence, rupture and I would cyclone myself then beat his face in.

Also of course as mentioned by many, Blademail for most dps. I believe it even works on spells? I know when they first made the change to it years ago from percentage return to activated, you could use it to dmg lina or lions with their own ults if timed right. But I think you still take the dmg in the first place? Not sure if it is like this still.

Halberd is amazing if used on any crazy Dps as well.

Hero Wise, slardar or gondar as mentioned before for invis, And I don't think I saw one for Necro vs Tanks or high hp. And Silencer shuts down Es pretty hard in team fights, as well as lots of other multi casters.

With all this I am wondering though, what is a good HERO counter to lone druid? Anti-Mage?

It depends on which part of game you mean, in late game Its almost impossible to counter well farmed Void or Spectre with another well farmed carry, Doombringer might counter them, but he can be countered by armor destruction, like Slardar's amp damage or Assault Cuirass

I think that a solid counter to Pudge would be Lifestealer. Just think about it for a while?

On the mid, when Pudge does his hook/rot combo, Naix can just use Rage and give Pudge a buttload of self-damage. His magic immunity, coupled with his Open Wounds and Feast can just absolutely demolish Pudge late game, or am I mistaken?
