Build Armor. Assault Cuirass is great. Juggernaut is almost entirely physical DPS except for Blade Fury, so building armor makes even Omnislash do minimal damage. A Black King Bar will also stop you from getting eaten up by said Blade Fury.

Wind Lace is what you need to kite Blade Fury, upgrade to Euls and have infinite mana plus a counter to omnislash, after that just build itens you need to kill him fast

You get plenty of armour from Warcry, the problem is the early levels when bladefury poses a huge threat to you. Be very careful when you are laning, i suggest max Warcry first, and going for something like 1-1-4-1, just to have an easier time with bladefury and Omnislash. for the same reason, consider going for Phase Boots, becasue it is likely that Juggernaut will do the same, and Warcry isn't enough to deal with a sped up jugger running at you face first.

If you're good at farming, then an early Drum of Endurance does the same thing as the phase boots, and gives you extra mana to work with. keep a casual Wind Lace until you can afford the drums, and the rest should be simple.

TBH Jugg has the advantage and it's going to be hard for Sven to win because he need items to do anything unlike Jugg who has abilities that do well early-mid game. You're not going to win until you get items, if you can't you will lose. Sven won't win anyways if you guys are following the 1v1 rules. You're going to spend the majority of the time farming and trying to survive, if you were able to get jugg to HALF health and you have your ult up, try to kill him. You just want to harass him to about half hp and fight around creeps. Ideally you want to be on the dire side, easier to get to the ancient and big camp.

First you got to remember how much damage each rank of Blade Fury does and how much damage Omnislash will do. Reminder this is for 1v1s

Blade Fury
rank 1 - 300 damage
rank 2 - 393.75 (round it to 400 if you can't remember)
rank 3 - 487.5 (round to 500)
rank 4 - 581.25 (round to 600)

For an easy mental note, just add 100 extra damage per level

Omnislash at MINIMUM will do 200 physical damage per bounce and ideally should be using his ult on you when you use yours. So if you ATE his Blade Fury spin and took all bounces at level 7, you take about at minimum 1181.25 damage.

You WANT more hp than the damage jugg can do with his spells because the damage from his abilities will be the MINIMUM amount of damage he can do.

1v1s are all about mechanics and if you're not playing the same heroes then you have to know the strength and weaknesses of both heroes. Sven lacks

Your skill build by level 7 should look like this 2-3-1-1, the extra level in hammer for that bit of extra damage. Focus on farming, stack whenever possible and make sure whenever you attack a creep you also cleave Juggernaut. This will eventually force Juggernaut to either commit a BF spam EARLY or to keep a healing ward up. When Jugg is low on mana, there's not a lot Jugg can do but right click you. That's where the stout comes in handy. Sven has a base armor of almost 5 so his right-clicks won't do much, only his spells will be his significant source of damage. Just don't let him get free right-clicks on you.

You want to get as much early hp as possible so you can survive early - mid game. You also want to get armlet as soon as possible.

Your build tree should like like this Boots > Bracer (120 hp, optional value item) > Raindrop (blocks 120 magic damage every 4 seconds) > Vanguard (250hp) > Armlet (500hp with active) > Power Treads (180hp). Buy these in this order. Total hp from items are 1050 + 120 magic block per 4 seconds. At level 11, Sven should have exactly 1000 hp with no items. For a total of about 2050 hp + 120 = 2170 effective hp. The total cost should be about 6745 gold, you should have these items by 20 minutes if you're not doing well.

Start off with a stout shield and as much sustain as possible so x2 tangoes and 1 health pot

Try to get raindrop and boots as soon as possible so you can survive some level 2 or 3 bladefury harass

Next item should be bracers so you can have some early stats, you can skip this if you're farming really well.

Keep stacking the ancient camp and when you have vanguard, farm it with your ult.

Armlet will be your next choice, the extra burst of hp and damage for the relative low price is highly attractive for a hero that will be having a hard time

At this point, Jugg should be having a harder time killing you with his combo and he should become a lot easier to kill. Pretty sure he also can't stop your push.

Farm a moonshard and then an abyssal blade.

Your end game build should look like this PT - Abyssal - Armlet - Moonshard - Vanguard - HoD

IF it's impossible to farm, buy a Iron Talon and farm a jungle camp that is close to the lane. This is easier on the dire side.

TLDR: If farm is good = chance to win, if not = high chance to lose
