Introduction

Fusion here! This is my guide on Ursa. Ursa is one of my favourite because he wrecks pretty much every team and he can play into any situation and with any team.

Level 1 - 90 damage, 25% slow.
Level 2 - 140 damage, 35% slow.
Level 3 - 190 damage, 45% slow.
Level 4 - 240 damage, 55% slow.
Mana Cost: 75
Cooldown: 7 seconds

Overpower
Sends Ulfsaar into a rage until he can expend his energy on a target. Lasts 15 seconds.

Level 2 - 400% increased attack speed for 4 attacks

Level 3 - 6% of Ulfsaar`s current life is dealt in damage.
Mana Cost: 0

My build

Tranquil Boots- My boot for Ursa - Provides an effective heal that can be used in-between ganks - Inexpensive movement speed - Armor.

Vanguard- Survivability nothing more.

Vladmir's Offering- Bread and butter of any Ursa build. Gives you everything that makes Overpower a thousand times better.

Abyssal Blade- Damage - Strength - Amazing Passive - Great active.

Heart of Tarrasque- More survivability.

Aegis of the Immortal- Should be getting this before level 10 and then every 10 minutes after.

Optional:

If you were to take my build and not like one the items then I put some suggestions on what to get. For a brief example of all.

Assault Cuirass for Heart of Tarrasque- Armor plus attack speed? Amazing on Ursa

Battle Fury- Cleave for your Overpower + Regen + Damage? *droll*

Black King Bar- You are focused a lot and you need to get into the rough areas because you are melee.

Daedalus- Damage plus crit opportunity - Amazing

Heavens Halberd- Evasion + Damage + Strength. Again something Ursa can gain from.

As for other guides displaying Ursa's need for Shadow Blade or Blink Dagger.

I beg you not to waste your money on these. If your afraid of not being in position then grab a Black King Bar and ether Tranquil Boots/ Phase Boots (I recommended putting these in your build when playing a heavy stun team and not Lothars Edge/ Blink Dagger) This in my opinion is much better option, but again how you play heroes is your personal preference.

Final Words

This build is the way I play Ursa! If you of opinions please sure them, but bashing me for how I play will not sit right with me. This build is not what you do in competitive this is a strictly pub stomp build. Ursa isn't picked very much in organized matches anyway. If you have a concern with not being able to farm these items then go towards a different build, but I've farmed this build 10 times today in a row tonight alone. The gold you get from creeping/rosh/thrid tire creeps/lane creeps once in awhile will feed you all day.

Credit goes to anyone who had an Ursa guide before as I used theirs as a template.

No blink dagger or shadow blade? You don't need vanguard. Heart after initiation item.

Obviously you chose to read the item build and not my explanation.

To add:

Vanguard is a quick item to get and when you fed 15 minutes in and have Vanguard you're unstoppable.

Vanguard gives you a good pool of HP, which works well with your ult. It's cheaper than Heart and far more effective early on.

Shadow Blade or Blink should be mentioned though, I agree.

Edit: I read it, but I'm saying it should be included in the build. Ursa isn't all that mobile, even with phase boots. It's not about being out of position, it's about getting into position and keeping a close distance with an enemy. With BKB they can still run from you. Shadow Blade you can get into position without them knowing, and with Blink it's pretty much instantaneous. I prefer Blade of the two.

Yesterday I played 20+ games with Ursa with the one of the three each time (one with phase only, one with blink, one with blade) non with bkb though and this worked for me.

Bash isn't an orb effect. The only time you can cancel your fury swipes is when you have both basher and any attack modifier with a chance (crit cleave etc)

I don't like the use of Vanguard, takes up a slot, the hp regeneration isn't required, and tranquil can be rushed early to make Vlads. So why more hp regen? Also, you're bringing out the same/less dps by maxing overpower before fury swipes, while eating up more mana. You only need level 3 overpower until level 10. And why not get enrage? Early on that's another 20-40% damage boost. out-dpsing maxed overpower.
