  • A LOT more damage

  • Global cast range
  • Relatively short cooldown.
  • Prevents healing

CONS
Freezing Field
  • Channelled
  • Very high manacost. (Think Pugna)
  • You have to be in or close to the middle of the teamfight.
  • Longer cooldown.
Ice Blast
  • Small radius if cast from close-range
  • Long time before shot actually comes, enemies can see it coming and get out.


STATS

CM has higher Strength gain
AA has higher Agility gain
CM has higer Intelligence gain
AA has higher movement speed.


Cm for the win me thinks.

Ancient Apparition's Ice Blast can be upgraded, and Ice Blast's "tracer" shot cannot be seen by your enemies.

Oh yes they see it with true sight on the minimap.

Edit: Nvm, realised you were talking about AA, not CM. ._.

Fixed! Including the fact that the Frostbite Effect goes through Magic Immunity! 8{3

Are you sure? I've double checked the Wiki and Liquidpedia and neither mention any Duration increase.

also look in game, duration goes up to 17 with aghs at all levels. other than that, nothing changes.

Have you never seen a Tri-Lane with an AA in it? 450 free Magical Damage at lvl1 is way better than a little bit of Mana! 8{3

By the way, AA wins this in my opinion because he adds more damage in the laning phase (just try Chilling Touch, op as hell) and his ultimate is spammable. Crystal Maiden may have a reliable disable and an AoE nuke, but Chilling Touch outclasses Crystal Nova in terms of damage and Cold Feet is good for zoning purposes.
