Late game on, is a good option to build Guinso + Bloodthorn ?

By Guinsoo's I assume you mean Scythe?

It may work, but usually as AM you want to focus on Illusions and Ratting, or at least keep up that possibility. With Scythe + Bloodthorn you can't rat as easily. Also, Bloodthorn is expensive.

I don't think that being expensive will be the issue for Anti-Mage.

But Bloodthorn is a bit weak for the hero since it gives him nothing he really needs. It gives no lockdown, just a silence which is nice but not what he needs, a crit which is also not the thing am needs, it is nice too but just not THE anti-mage damage source and than the truestrike is probably the best part of the item, but it is only for one hero. i think that getting a Monkey King Bar is way more stable than a Bloodthorn.

Scythe of Vyse either the idea is nice but why not just Abyssal Blade. Scythe gives nothing more than abyssal, at least nothing more usefull for am. Is int really something you need on a hero who vowed to destroy all sorcery? Bash, hp, damage block and bkb piercing disable in general seems way better for a carry as Anti-Mage. I think abyssal gives even more damage, of course it is not given to you illusions but it will just be like 2 damage on your illusions extra so that is neglectable.

Honestly, his item build is pretty one dimensional as it is. There's not much to change around in his build, as you'd obviously want to pick up items that work terribly well with him.

Something I didn't hear any mention is getting an Ethereal Blade on him to maximise Mana Void damage on certain targets, having an extra nuke, decent damage and stats thanks to the bonuses it provides, and the ability to turn someone ethereal against strong right click. Plus the slow.

E-blade seems fun but not really viable for him. You say he has a 1 dimensional item build and that is partly true since he always buys the same items but the order you get them give options.

Now what would you say about Echo Sabre on a early fighting Anti-Mage? The item seems pretty good as it gves a double strike, so more mana burn, and some strenght.

Anti-Mage being active in the early game? It's more likely than you think! Learn how this run of mill afk farmer became an active support killer using this one weird item!

Already saw that idea, hamster theorycrafted this, i think Magina does not need the HP right now because he can build an early Vanguard for Abyssal, and for mana he still have Battlefury and Vlads.

Also 2 patchs ago Rod of Athos did a 0,4 true strike, so it was better because it have 2 purposes instead of one, anyway save for Abyssal/Guinso is still better right ?

It will use the same levels as a,ti-mage has so as he has 4 levels in Mana Burn than it will do the damage of 4 levels in Mana Burn.

Further I actually start to like Assault Cuirass as a replacement for Butterfly. If I see a lot of rightclick damage but they have or are going Butterfly I like an Assault Cuirass, an item that is mostly not often bought on Anti-Mage. According to dotabuff Sange and Yasha is even bought more than Assault Cuirass.

About s&y, is there someone who ever had a game he thaught that it would be much better than a Manta Style?
