stacking three butterflies mean having an evasion of 72.5375% .
Since evasion is rounded over to multiple of 5 , a whopping 75% evasion.

No. Butterfly, like other evasion, stacks multiplicatively/diminishingly. This means that if you have two butterflies, the first one enables you to evade 35% of hits, allowing 65% to get through. The second butterfly allows you to evade a further 35% of the 65% that gets through, which means that 42.25% of hits get through.

To add:
Flutter has a 35 second cooldown.
If you have multiple butterflies and use Flutter once, they all go into cooldown.

To put it simply, all Items AND Abilities that grant Evasion stack diminishingly, so Halberd and Butterfly do indeed stack (although I doubt there's a Hero who'd benefit from having both), e.g. if a Phantom Assassin bought a Butterfly with Blur Maxed out, she would have...

1 - (1 - 0.3) * (1 - 0.4)
1 - (0.7 * 0.6)
1 - 0.42
0.58

...58% Evasion

This is great. I just don't understand how is it calculated.

Is the evasion from different (or same) items and abilities cumulative? Or is it calculated separately for each item?

If it is calculated separately...Is it more effective to have 1 Butterfly (35% evasion chance) or 2 Halberds (2 x 25% evasion chance)?

Jesus...I am getting confused :-D
