you do need the quellihg blade as it actually buils into your battlefuty, and it does not need to be played solely in the safe lane . i just played a pa game in the offlane and went 20-2-17.

I agree with previous posts, the quelling blade slows her down, it is easier to pick up an extra pair of slippers and get the Poor man's shield within the first minute.

The blur, it is like another shield, generally at level 4 I'm 2-1-1 on the skills, how I get there depends on the lane. (with a ranged hero harassing, I actually have gotten the blur at level 2)

Well, I tried it in many pubs. I strongly feel that the 30% damage increase for Phantom Assassin is too much when she does not have any health items OR if no crits shows up.

Like the build, but I'd put that sometimes it can be more useful to have a butterfly than MBK since you get damage, speed, and (even more) evasion from it. Can completely desolate a team if they don't have a carry with MKB.

Edit: And I agree with the first poster, except for the blur part. Can help make up for a stupid decision if you are lucky. You shouldn't be using phantom strike so much early on anyways. You should really just keep it encase of an escape early on, because Mortred is honestly too squishy to be an early on ganker.

Butterfly does not stack with blur. Keep that in mind. I think I said it in the skills explanation part.

Woops. Accidentally clicked Ghost Scepter by accident. And I would elaborate more on the guide. Ty :D

Quelling Blade is to help make up for the lack of mana regeneration during the early game. Quelling Blade could be sold the moment you have perseverance.

That 20% chance from blue could be used as an early warning sign of a gank from the mid and it also acts like a second version of Stout Shield

Nice guide, I have been playing Phantom Assassin for quite a long time now. And there are a few things I want to ask actually. Why Ghost Scepter? Phantom Assassin is a right-clicker and using Ghost Scepter is literally taking her off the battlefield = less stopping power.

I wouldn't suggest getting an early Blur since Phantom Assassin is fairly squishy and 20% chance doesn't really help. I would rather max out Phantom Strike then only touch Blur.

On another hand, I don't think Quelling Blade is necessary since she have Stifling Dagger which can be used to last-hit instead. Since you're rushing Perseverance, getting Quelling Blade is even more of a no-no.

Otherwise, an okay guide.
