So for those of you who don't know, a new build has been taking the spotlight in 6k+ and even in the pro meta recently.

This build originates with Wagamama, who produced a couple of videos as to what this build is and how it works. While I was initially skeptical because at a first glace it sounds like the Alchemist **** that nobody liked and that actually caused the most salt I've ever seen on Dotafire, this build plays very differently and sounds scarily effective.

Basically, it's Radiance on Faceless Void.

So Waga explained why he believes it to be good, and it's essentially because Time Walk makes Void extremely tanky and Time Dilation is amazing in extended teamfights, two factors which make radiance a viable item on a hero. To make Void tanky enough to actually get a Time Walk off and not just die, he gets Vanguard first. So item-wise, it's similar to the old Spectre builds - Vanguard into Radiance into Manta.

I haven't been able to play dota and test this build out yet but it all sounds very good to me. Void gets a farm accelerator, he can fight pretty much constantly, and he's very hard to take down, because if your burst fails, then back he goes to full HP. It's obviously a build for a #1 Void.

So let's discuss this. Is it only that good in theory? Is it a #newmeta? Octarine as a legit item for this? Debate away.

There are two kinds of people in the world; those who can count, and those who can't.

I have seen Cuttleboss do this as safelane farming Void to great effect! I haven't had a chance to try it since I always get stuck with offlane Void.

I like it, but am unsure about Octarine Core with the build. On the one hand, more Time Walk casts and lifesteal from the Radiance burn and his bashes makes him even tankier, but on the other hand that's three major items (including Vanguard in there) where only one is even moderately damage efficient, on your position one safelane farming carry.

Could still work, though. I do like how Chronosphere becomes a way of ensuring up to 5 seconds of radiance burn.

I ran this three times, twice successful because of good supports, and once unsuccessful because bad support and also a mid Invoker that lost to an Arc Warden, and then they flamed me.

Basically, this build is heavy on domination early on. You use Vanguard and with it you can pressure towers at a not too large risk. You get RoH, Treads, VG, Talon, and then try to get Radiance done by about 18-23 minutes. If you fail this, like if you die 3 times, you're in a ton of trouble, but that's the purpose of the VG, to not get caught with your pants down, like how I run CK with casual morbid mask so if a ganker catches me, I'm at full HP.

Important notes:
-This is not an offlane build, timing window is extremely important. I lost a game recently because an offlane void decided to run this and had his VG radiance at 33 minutes.
-You need a team that can output damage because you don't start doing real damage until your first item after Radiance (which is either Manta or Butterfly), so run him with Zeus, Tinker, Invoker, those type of high damage heroes.
-Don't run this against a lot of long silences, and especially against heroes that get stronger the longer they fight you like OD, Slark, or Razor, not unless you have a skywrath mage who can explode whoever you chronosphere.
-Void is an awesome laner, he is really hard to shut down, he CSes really easily, and that's the best part of this build, its hard to really stop him at each step, but it will not forgive you easily if things don't go well.

That's just my input, I'd have to run more games with it, the last one I played left a bad taste because of stupid invoker and SS flaming me for their obvious errors and blaming Waga for it, it just wasn't cool.
