This is gonna be a Looonnng game cause ... patches people..... muthetruckin patches.

basically its pretty simple.

Question:

name a hero and a skill that you think needs a nerf and explain why and what type of nerf you would give it?

ill start it offfff


Hero: Leshrac

Skill: lightening storm

Nerf: increase cd duration to 6 seconds at all levels.

Reason: The current 4 second cd 260 nuke makes laning against him mid incredibly hard. it makes his early lane presence obscene forcing out most mids and giving him an early game strength over most other mids. combine that with his diabolic edict and pulse nova trying to fight him 1v1 for a rune or in lane is pure sucide. with the cd increase his laning strength is reduced to a level that you can deal with but doesnt effect his laning presence too heavily. the 6 cd means early skirmishes wont allow 3-4 storms like now but only 1-2. i think the cd increase makes him much more balanced and he is still strong enough to be picked but doesnt make him an INSTA win like he is now.

Inb4 Hamsters says nerf Fissure and remove Techies.

Winter Wyvern - Cold Embrace

Increase cooldown of Cold Embrace from 17/16/15/14 to 18 at all levels
Increase mana cost of Cold Embrace from 75 to 70/85/100/115
Cast range from 1000 to 800

Essentially the spell just functions as a better better Shallow Grave currently. And that would be fine if the hero's other spells were meh, but Winter Wyvern's aren't, she has one of the best scaling skillsets in DOTA. And thus I feel the spell needs a nerf, not to make her unplayable, but simply to level her out a bit. I'm fine with her joining the top tier of supports, just not to be as good, because there's a strong argument to be made for being the best support right now. And given this is a relatively poor patch for her in terms of meta... yeeeah.

Since you just can't have enough Chaos Breaker.

Nerf: Block duration rescaled to 5/6/7/8

Reason: It's just to strong at level one right now.

Skill: Shackleshot

Duration reduced to 1.5/2/2.5/3. Can now be disjointed.

Ever since the change to its targeting, it's become a skill-less 2 person stun that lasts longer than most movies. With a ridiculous cast point. And you can't even disjoint it, meaning that there is NO escape from its cancer. And while we're at it, can we just tear the Hero's vocal chords out too?

why is it too strong? it takes over half his mana pool meaning he cant cast it again at level 1. it does around 90 damage after reductions its on a 14 second cooldown and only does a 1.25 second stun? the only thing its good for is if the enemy is badly positioned you can force them to move a certain way.

Smuggels, a well positioned fissure can block enemy movement for up to 8 seconds. That is way too strong, on the level of a perfect mirana arrow, but takes a little less skill to pull it off.

Skill: Rocket Barrage

Nerf: Gyrocopter's base move speed reduced from 315 to 305.

Makes him work harder for his ridonk-atronk magical insta-death nuke. :D
