TECHIES PLEASE!

Necronomicon is the only true Techies counter in the game.
Sentries? You can't sentry the whole map. Gem? Gem is a horrible item anyways and you won't keep it for more than 2 minutes, while you need permanent detection ; besides he can forcestaff you into the mines.
While with Necrobook, you summon them when you push with your team and send them ahead so they can be the ultimate minesweepers. No more ultra-kills with remote mines, Techies becomes useless :)

Supports aren't hard carries, they are supposed to stand a little back.

Unless you end up in a pub where suddenly you have a dazzle playing carry and a juggernaut supporting

When Techies arrives no more rat.

I don't claim Techies are OP, they just force you to play in a certain way, which is hard in pubs.

Adaptation? Please, pubs still can't adapt to Lycan and Soul Keeper which are easier to deal with, they can't adapt to Brewmaster and Wraith King, with Techies it could take forever no matter how will they suffer from this hero.

About warding all the map - it's like with casual warding. There are obvious Observer Ward but there are less known spots that do the job too - and they are rarely dewarded even in pro games as warding/counter warding is a pure mindgame. Pub scrubs can't into mindgames, luckily, most Techies players too. But gosh, there are so many spots where you can place them mines.

And even if I pick roaming support(which I personally don't enjoy), I will need gold for a gem/sentries. Pub players can't even get a courier and casual wards time to time, what to say about donating for wards?


Good luck gathering 5k gold for it. Techies' power is early-game where mines can deal good damage, by the time you get Necrobook, their effectiveness if limited.

I personally think Techies are purely team-games hero and it would be great if they would be banned in All Pick, yet added to CM/CD.

I'm going to bump this for a simple reason. I'm downloading an update right now that's rather large. So this means that Techies is almost certainly finally here. Or valve is just messing with us.
