Drow with atos for dat mana pool, survivability and movespeed slow, max frost arrows first. Watch as your enemies try to flee at 50 ms.

The INT from atos sustains your mana pool so you can spam frost arrows too.

May I direct you to a series on YouTube called 'Silly Builds'. Rather amusingly, the one he did for Sniper actually became 6.83 meta. There are a lot of amusing things on there.

Dual Midas Lone Druid. Having 2 midaes. Amazing right? Well, actually, it's so greedy and takes so long to come online that if you win with it, especially given the hero's timing window (~20-30 minutes, 85+ minutes), you were almost certainly gonna win anyway. Sorry LD, you don't get to be Overpowered Warden.

Octarine Core on Night Stalker. Permanent night (almost)...but you pay the cost of a Scythe of Vyse for an item that does nothing outside of this.

I actually saw a team in the TI5 qualifiers (can't remember who) go for the aghs+octo core on Night Stalker for eternal nighttime.

^ Yes I know I've seen it in a competitive game once, can't remember when.

It's just with those items like Lotus Orb that you need in almost every game these days, and a lot of other utility items like halberd, AC, blink-sheep or abyssal, etc...it feels a bit silly to not have a better use for 6K gold :)

The vision reduction is really strong tho. But it's not like you need it permanently for it to work.
