Had a fun conversation with a friend of mine after he saw an item I had in a game as Jakiro and wondered why I would ever build it.

Instead of just telling you guys the item and why. I want people to guess why. And then post odd item choices that made sense in their games.

Linkens was made to prevent Shackleshot, Dismember, Mana Void and Duel. Duh

Linkens is situational on every hero and core on none :)

Not a bad Linkins game at all.

It should only block Burrowstrike once though, after the first time you would just target the ground slightly beyond him (which is what i tend to do anyway).

Actually it blocks Burrowstrike regardless of how it's targeted. You can't target units with this skill, it's purely target point.

Really? The more you know. Thought Linkins only blocked targeted spells. Odd how this is as well.

It's really odd. Like how linken's used to protect from Fissure, but volvo changed that so maybe Burrowstrike will be handled the same ?

I could be wrong, but it doesn't block being tied to someone else by the shackle. As in, if you're not the primary target.
