First Real PA Game

I generally go Phase >> Drums >> Vlads >> BKB >> then go from there. If i need to farm, Maelstrom/Mjollnir is great, as the attackspeed = more crits.

If I need impact now, I usually go basher, yasha, or AC.

Except for Yasha, either go Manta Style for Purge or there isn't much point to it tbh.

Hand of Midas is acceptable if you have Space to Farm for a while too. <}3

I don't get the battlefury hate on PA. I mean, against Illusion Heroes, it's actually a really good pickup. When not, it's a gateway to 800GPM games if you get it at a good time.

Helping your team? I am. My dosh-getting will help them in the long run.

the reasoning behind non bf pa is three fold


the cost is prohibitive to her.

- she doesnt have great farm speed compared to other carries so the only real way she can get the gold for a battlefury is to skip some early game items that iswhy you see a pa with brown boots and a poormans shield and nothing else at 15 mins. by going your early game items Pahse Boots drums morbid mask and building into a Maelstrom you should get those items by 15-20 minutes.



bf pa requires a grouper.

- unless your playing scrubs most people know not to stand behind the person a bf pa is attacking. so going bf is mostly when you have some other hero who is forcing the enemy team to clump/group. Magnus Dark Seer then she really needs to go bf.



she comes online a fair bit quicker then most hard carries.

- compared to some hard carries her online time is a lot earlier so by going bf your forcing her to off put her online time till later when other hard carries are at theirs. its better to hit harder and faster earlier then to hit hard later but also to get hit hard.

So it's the delay to her 'online' time. Righto. We all know Battlefury is a terrible fighting item :)

Anyway I tried mjollnir PA in bots, and it was hilariously brutal. Never carried a feeding team so hard before.

comparatively you get more in the terms of damage/hp/actives/lifesteal/stats/as/ms.

max gpm per minute is 530.

so at 10 minutes you theoretically have 5300 gold.

which could either get you

Battlefury
Boots of Speed
Blades of Attack
and 400 gold.

which you get
- 74 damage
- 150% mana regen
- 6 hp a sec regen
- 50 move speed

or

Phase Boots
Drum of Endurance
Helm of the Dominator
and 300 gold.

which gets you

- 56 damage
- 15% lifesteal
- +9 to attributes
- 5 attack speed
- 5% move speed
- 5 armour
- 50 move speed
- actives :
16% move speed for 4 seconds with phase
dominate creep - find alpha wolf thats a bonus 20% damage
10 a/s and 10% m/s for 6 seconds

But the big thing is... your not going to get that GPM.

so if you look at the per item costing. its cheaper and quicker to go phase drums helm.

BF is a situational pick for reasons. you dont see it in pro games because they know this.

i used to go bf but having seen a 14 minute phase drums helm pa get a Rampage changed my mind hahaha

Pfff...2 pages of discussing PA builds and not even a single mention of Desolator rush.

I'm just seeing way too many ridiculous "i deal no damage" PA builds like midas drum into Vlads into BKB which ensure that you're essentially useless. Oh and add in a SnY for good measure.

PA needs damage items. Not attack speed, damage. She works exactly like Ursa with 4 almost-instant free attacks with each Phantom Strike. On a 5-second cooldown.

If you don't like Bfury PA because it's too slow to come online just rush deso and 3-shot people, and then get your BKB by farming heroes.
