it does in demo hero i tried it out about 6 hours ago, i couldnt stop laughing at the 3 bullets in one animation.

also if you changed heroes without exiting you keep the aghs upgrades so storm spirit would attack every 3 seconds and when you used new aghs on es he would jump do Electric vortex and hit something every 3 seconds. ive just downloaded the update (a) now see if it still works

The attack range increase is enough for melee heroes to hit uphill wards, and to hit through Sprout apparently.

It will probably get fixed, but in the mea-time that's a pretty relevent buffs for Melee supports who don't have to waste a slot on Quelling Blade.

Since you just can't have enough Chaos Breaker.

Hamster pretty much laid my thoughts about this patch out in the first post. I guess I'll just start spamming Slark and Naga Siren because Icefrog wants to be like "**** this guy's favorite heroes". Except Brew. Brew's dope. I think I'll for a build with either Aghs(because his spirits are beyond OP now) or SnY now that it's so good.

Btw what about this new "Lace" thingy. You can go like Lace+OoV, and either a set of Tangos or like pooled tango+clarity+branch or some ****. Then just go and roam and hit ppl. Roaming Orge and CK back?

Edit: Oh yeah. This thing. Blade Mail. How it is supposed to be balanced in the first place? It's ridiculous. Hailrake once tried to go for Blademail-Radi-Octarine focused build and now I think that's actually legit because it isn't even countered by BKB.

Can you explain why? I don't play Brew and I don't have the courage to go look up armor types that only apply to 2 units in the game :)

Also yeah, Balance Mail. I think my Blade Mail Morphling doesn't look like such a troll build anymore...since it becomes better the more armor you have now. I think we're going to see it on a lot more heroes than just Clock and LC. CK, Kunkka, Brew, Phoenix, Doom, LD (the hero not the bear btw), Viper, Brood, Necro, Ogre, Jakiro, Furion, Zeus... hope 5-man blademail doesn't become patch cancer. Because it really could.
Especially since Drum of Endurance sucks now (say whatever you want Kyfroid, it's true). So Blademail is the item to rush on early fighters. For example I see no reason to ever go drum on CK or Furion over blademail.

On the whole Blade Mail thing, on one hand I'm kinda glad it's no longer - 'I've got a BKB so give zero foobs about it', might even have to think about who I attack now. But on the other hand, it was always great value for money, and might be too strong now.

I wasn't readin' up on armor types tbh I just took a guess xD but it actually is like I guessed:

* Pierce dmg deals 0.5 dmg to heroes and 0.35 dmg to buildings, hero dmg deals 1 dmg to heroes and 0.5 dmg to buildings.

* Hero armor type takes 0.85 dmg from buildings, strong(or basic) armor takes 1 dmg from structures.

If you look at spirit's dmg scaling they actually now deal WAAAAY more dmg at lvls 1 and 2. But that's not even the point.

First, useless Pulverize got replaced with an actually useful 1.5 damage to building passive so you can now actually effectively hit rax while enemies are disabled by boulder and tornado or tier 1 tower after you dives and enemy mid.

Second, Wind Walk is now super, like, SUPER good, it deals 2x more actual dmg to heroes because it's a direct attack dmg bonus and it's value has been buffed. So just so you get the feel of it: previously you'd deal actual 50 bonus dmg on all levels, now you deal 100/160/220 actual bonus dmg to heroes on a 5 sec cd. OSFrog.

And I'm probably wrong and the patch notes writer is a ****** but it says in Demolish, "deals 150% bonus damage to buildings"... which amounts to 250% total damage to building. Probably not, and it actually meant only 50% bonus dmg but who knows. I'm gonna test it all once I get the time.

I think you can now go like Treads-Blink-Vlad's-Aghs-SnY on this hero and just kill everybody.

Ok so Earth :

6.86 : 20/40/82 damage to heroes, 14/28/57 damage to buildings

6.87 : 30/60/90 damage to heroes, 22/45/67 damage to buildings ( Pulverize taken into account)

Storm :

6.86 : 20/40/82 damage to heroes, 14/28/57 damage to buildings

6.87 : 20/40/60 damage to heroes, 15/30/45 damage to buildings


I'm a bit skeptical. Seems better at level 2 but worse at level 3.

Wind Walk, yeah sure it's more damage, but that feels pretty minor. Well burst damage is burst damage, right?

All in all, I'm pretty meh on that change. For me it changes essentially nothing. If it made Brew a pusher that would be great, but it doesn't. Also this feels a bit like a ricing patch, not a deathball Brew patch.

Well I guess you can go blink/armlet/SnY and just right-click people to death :)

(Also Bloodthorn counters Brew as much as a combination of Orchid Malevolence and Monkey King Bar. Literally the ultimate **** you Brew item.)

Why everyone is so hyped about a 7k orchid? It's still orchid and it's still dispelled by a lot of items in the game(including BKB and Lotus which are good on Brew, also greaves), why'd you want to waste 7k gold on that unless you have some good hard disable like Storm with Hex or WR with Shackle?

Nobody cares about lvl 3 values anyway, because it;s still minore at that point in the game. The point is increase in damage on lvls 1 and especially 2 where it really matters if you take into account all the attacks you'll land(remember about 1 BAT). Same with Wind Walk, don't tell me a 160 dmg physical nuke on 5 sec cd is minor given that it's just part of the spell and is pretty much free. You can get it off 4 times at level 2 which is 640 free physcial dmg, that also is supposed to work on buildings(!).

Also if his bulding dmg is as good on practice as it seems in theory, mb I'll try Kyfoid-style Radi-AC-Octarine rat brew with 75 sec cd ulti. Don't let your dreams be memes.
